The crowd quiets down as the intimidating flame hero walks out onto the field, face stoic and eyes cold. His fans were hesitant to cheer for him, knowing he doesn't do fan service. Though, a couple whispers do go around the audience as he gets on the stage with the Angel Vigilante, quite literally looking like David and Goliath.
"She's so small compared to him..."
"Won't his flames just burn her wings?"
"Poor girl, she did great against the UA staff, but this is the #2 hero."
"She's probably gonna leave the stage crying."
A handful of the Shiro's students heard these comments and were annoyed that they were severely underestimating her, but also smug because they knew she'd shut them up in a few minutes.
Bakugo, who had heard enough, bursts out "SHOW THEM WHAT YOU'RE MADE OF YOU BLIND HAG!" His outburst was followed by a couple of his classmates cheering her on with similar, albeit more polite, comments.
Even the ever quiet Amajiki Tamaki yells out in support of the one who supported him when nobody else did, "G-go Ami-nee, y-y-you can do i-it!" Though he cowers behind Mirio, trembling and hiding his face with his hair, right after.
Shiro waves her arm in their direction and her chest aches at how adorable her students are, OMG even Tama-chan yelled for me! Now I HAVE to put on a good show. I have to remember to buy him some takoyaki later.
"ALRIGHT LET'S END THIS SPECIAL EVENT WITH A BANG"

Shiro immediately releases a handful of feathers and spreads them around the entire colosseum. Once she thinks there are enough, she withdraws her wings. Good, I can see from all angles and perspectives.
