There are three main gods considered in Hinduism, they are Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh i.e. Shiv ... In such a situation, there are many secrets about these gods. While the origin of Brahma is believed to be from the navel of Lord Vishnu, there are different beliefs about the origin of Shiv.
According to the ancient veds , it is believed that thousands of millions of years ago, at the beginning of the Varaha period, when the gods and goddesses stepped on the earth, then the earth was in the grip of ice age. During this, Lord Shiv made Kailash, the center of the earth, his abode.
Kailash is such a mysterious mount that a normal human never will able to understand. There has been a lots of expedition and researches about this mount.

Vishnu had made the sea his place and Brahma had made the bank of the river his place. Puranas say that just below the mountain where shiv is seated in the Hades, above the seat of shiv beyond the atmosphere is the place of heaven and then Brahmaji respectively, while there was nothing on earth. All these three happened.
