Kartikeya Son of Parvati and the name of Murugan in South India, Kartikeya or Murugan (Tamil: முருகன்), a popular Hindu god and most of them are Tamil Hindu. They are worshiped mainly in the southern states of India and especially Tamil Nadu, in addition to the Tamil resident / migrants wherever they live in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore etc.
Their six most famous temples are located in Tamil Nadu. Tamil addresses Tamil Kadvul i.e. the god of Tamils addressing. It is also the protector god of Tamil Nadu state of India. This is Lord Shiv and Mata Parvati's largest son.
Their younger brothers are Devi Ashokasundari, Lord Ayipa, Devi Jyoti, Devi Mansa and Lord Ganesh. They have two wives whose names are Devsena and Walli. Devsena Devraj is the daughter of Indra, who is also known as the Sixth Mata. Walli is the daughter of a tribal king.
