Part 58: A Well Earned Summer Break

As she took a prolonged look at his back, some, if not only one of her memories returned.

But this made zero sense whatsoever.

How could Izuku's back be the key to some of her memories returning?

Not to mention, she remembered a completely different person.

One of her best friends, Mirio, is what she remembered.

" Oh yeah I do! And I also remember Tamaki!"

Her expression was filled with joy.

The very first day of her memory loss and progress was already made.

" Undressing in the school could get you expelled."

Nezu was standing right behind them.

His curiosity got the better of him seeing Izuku undress himself in front of Nejire.

" But since it's you, I have no choice but to overlook it."

Even though he had a calm and a serious demeanor, Nezu has no choice but to give Izuku special privileges.

After all, he's the son of the ogre.

" If you're thinking of doing something, do it at the dorms please. "

Nezu is not going to interfere with them.

It's a reunion to his eyes.

" Even the teachers think we're dating!?"

Nejire's surprised remark brought a lot of question to Nezu.

" She lost her memories, and I need to talk with you."

Given the fact Nejire lost her momories, this is going to be a serious talk.

" Alright."

" Nejire, could you stay here until we're done?"

It seems Izuku wants to speak with Nezu alone.

Either it's something between the two of them, or something Nejire shouldn't hear.

" I'll try, but don't expect too much from me."

It's Nejire we're talking about. Her curiosity might lead her out of thr school given the right amount of time.

Either way, Izuku took the bet and left her alone for the while.

" I take it she doesn't remember you. "

" And weirdly enough, she remembers Mirio and Tamaki, but not me."

" That's a shame. It seems bad luck is always on your side."

" It probably is."

It definitely is.

" So what did you want to talk about? If Nejire can't hear it, it must be something serious. "

" Could you inform Mirio and Tamaki about her memory loss? "

That's far too tame of what Nezu expected to come out of Izuku's mouth.

So tame that he felt a sense of relief knowing it's not something hard to handle.

" Is that it? "

" Also, tell them not to mention anything about Nejire and I dating. Tell them to act as if me and her are only good friends."

That's also an easy task, but Nezu questions as to why should Nejire live  such a lie.

Izuku must have his reasons.
