Part 20: News Spread Fast

Well, my cat had some sort of big black dot near her back legs, so we brought her to the vet to check it out. I didn't think it was something serious, but turns out she had to undergo surgery.

The worst thing i heard was that my cat had rotten muscles underneath that black dot, didn't know that was actually a thing.
She's fine now.

Sad they literally had to cut off half her fur to do the operation...

" He's been proven innocent..." - Finally, All Might blurted the truth out to Izuku's old friends, Mirio and Tamaki.

At first, they thought they heard it incorrectly, as the words were still ringing in their ears. It's something they never expected to hear. Since after all, if what they heard is true, then they messed up big time.

They finally understood what he said. They thought he was joking, but the straight face All Might had, imbued with guilt, they knew it was no joke.

" No... No way..." - Uttered Mirio in disbelief.

" We're also expecting him to come back to U. A, but we're unsure when..." - All Might exclaimed.

They were fucking morons, the guilt hit them right in the stomach. They believed his story about Uraraka rather than his classmates, but not this. Obviously they were sad, full with guilt. The emotional pain Izuku must have felt, they couldn't even imagine it.

But that wasn't the worst part about it. Yes, the 2 boys felt like pieces of shit for believing the lie, but most of their worry was for Nejire.

5 months ago, when Nejire heard the news about Izuku being the 'traitor', she broke down.

It took her a while before she started getting better, but she did. Although that goofy side of hers didn't come back, she was still Nejire.

So the question lies, what will happen to her once she hears the truth? They reckon she's not going to take it well. They're scared just by wondering what's going to happen.

" Do you.. think he's changed? After being 5 months in prison?" - Mirio asked with a tone of a scared person.

" I haven't met him yet, but it's certain he's changed." - All Might replied.

"By what his brother told us, a simple apology isn't going to change anything..." - He added.

They're not suprised by that part, literally everyone in this school is an enemy to him, and it pains the 2 boys to think...That Nejire is one aswell.

And they're frightened of when the day comes, the day he comes back to U. A. Unknown to them, he's already here.

They know no one is an exception. It doesn't matter what you were to Izuku, even when he was the innocent little sweetheart, the 2 boys doubt he would ever forgive them.

But Mirio hopes to god, that Nejire will be an exception. It doesn't matter if his friendship with Izuku never recovers, he hopes that Izuku will forgive Nejire...

" He's really back?" - In their midst of their grief thinking, a U. A student walked passed them, saying something quite peculiar.

" Yeah i saw him! Never knew Izuku was that hot!" - Her friend said it quite loud.

Hearing her mutter his name, All Might's and 2 U. A students eyes widened in shock. All Might told them he might come back, someday, but none of them expected it to be today.

" Excuse me! " - All Might grabbed the students shoulder. " Is it true what you said?! Izuku is back?!" - He asked, hoping she was joking.

" U-uh, y-yeah!" - Unknown to All Might, she's a big fan of him.
