Part 21: First Day Back

[Next Day]

Having just woken up, at 7 in the morning, Izuku did his peculiar routine before going down to eat with his brother.

Right after waking up, his mind was fixated onto one person, his father. He doesn't know much about him, other than the fact he's called the worlds strongest creature. And finding out how strong a Hanma can become, it's no suprise for him.

Having just left his room and going straight to the kitchen, he saw Baki already finished preparing the food.

" Hope you're hungry, cause i made extra." - Said Baki, before sitting down and munching down the food.

" Actually, i'm starving! " - Izuku exclaimed, before doing the same thing.

The food was good, great in fact. Baki never ceases to amaze Izuku with his cooking. Actually, Izuku was enjoyimg the food a little too much.

When eating, most of the times they stay quiet. After all, nothing interupts their breakfast and gets away with it.

He's going to leave for school right after he eats, so he needed to ask Baki more info about his father.

" Hey, i gotta ask." - Izuku spoke up.

" What is it?" - Baki asked.

" What's our father like?" - right after Izuku asked, the calming aura between Baki diminished.

Was it a question he shouldn't have asked? Just by his reaction alone, Izuku could tell Baki didn't expect such a question right out of the blue. Yet, Baki's calm demeanor was still there.

" He's the devil." - Baki simply replied, goint back to eating.

Yes, Izuku wanted to ask more, but something told him this is enough. If someone calls his father a devil, it's best not to ask any more info about the man. He decided to leave it for another day...

Having just finished eating, he decided it's time to go to school. He literally had no backpack, and no books, but it's not like it matters.

What matter for him... Is how Nejire's going to take this...

He's certain she already heard the news, since they always spread fast in U. A. He met her, to say, when Izuku saved a girl from some thugs.

And she was doing well from what he could tell. Not the best, but she looked well. If anything, he knew what it could mean. It's a simple answer, and Izuku already knows that answer.

She moved on...

He couldn't blame her the slightest for moving on, but the fact she betrayed him, it's another story entirely. After all, he's the same, he moved on aswell, and became even stronger than the top heroes, except for All Might.

Most only dream of surpassing All Might, and most can't even fathom of someone being stronger than him. Heck, even ones blessed with strong quirks, they can't see themselves ever surpassing the man, after all, he's the Symbol Of Peace for a reason.

And it's a shame really, most think All Might is the strongest on this planet. Those who think that, are a clear definition of a frog in a well.

As for Izuku, he doesn't see All Might as an obstacle to surpass anymore. With time, he knows he'll pass him easily.

[Some Time Back]

" Nejire!" - Both Mirio and Tamaki worringly screamed her name, as she fell down from her chair.

Mirio already knew it was a bad idea to tell her, but even so, he had to. He still felt deep regret as he picked her up, before running to the nurse's office.
