I walked out of the bath, my hair still soaked. Sam smiled at me while her friends seemed busy with their makeup.

"Just so you know I do not wear makeup." I said holding a finger up in Samantha's face while i held my towel in place in the other hand.

"I know" she said going through the dresses on my bed "but your dad made it clear that he wants to make an announcement. Something that seems to be very important so you have to dress nice and you need makeup." She said placing random dresses in front of my body to look if they suit my face or not.

"Look I like you and you seem nice but right now I'm not on speaking terms with my dad so if you don't mind I need... Where are my jeans Sam?"

"Made sure to hide them so that you would wear a dress." Sam said smiling.

"A skirt fine a dress no way." I said stubbornly.

"Fine!" She sighed handing me a flower print skirt and a black top.

"Fair enough! Thank you."

"Come on go get dressed we need to work on the hair part."

I entered the bathroom again and got into the outfit real quick. Once i walked Sam and her friends smiled aprovingly.

"Okay Now sit." Sam said turning a chair in my direction as I took a seat.

One of the girls worked on my hair the other on my nails and the third tried to find me a suitable heal.

"I'm not wearing heels." I informed.

"Okay you have to choose heels or makeup?" Sam said slightly annoyed.

"Heels" i replied.

"Great now shut up." Within minutes they were done and I had to admit they did quite a good job.

"Thank you guys." I said smiling.

"Come on we're gonna be late." We all walked down the stairs. My dad tried to compliment my appearance but i just walked away.

The second I got out, I saw sky leaning on his motorcycle.

"Hey" he said hugging me "you look beautiful."

"Yeah right thanks." I said hugging him back. He chuckled slightly.

"No really thank you for coming on such short notice." I say really grateful.

"It's nothing now care to explain?" He asked.

"Yeah... Let me begin with the reason why I came to your school in the middle of the scholastic year." I said looking at the ground pained by the memory of it.

Its only been one week but it feels like a year. A year of hiding my true identity and who i really was.

I told sky the entire story in the car since dad and his girlfriend were busy in the front and Samantha had her earphones on.

"So that's how it was. Now i live one week here and one there."

Sky looked at me with pity.

"Sky please i chose to tell you because i believe you are the only one who would treat me the same even if you knew what was happening to me." I said my voice low.

"Yeah i wont treat you any differently I promise." Sky said grabbing my hand and giving it a tight squeeze as if my hand was the promise he was going to hold onto.

"Thanks." The rest of the drive was silent as i couldn't remove from my head the fact that Sky still had my hand in his and it felt heavenly. His palm was soft and he looked at ease. I was boiling from the inside my heartbeat accelerating.
