The air is cold, a woman realises when she wakes up.
She squints her eyes, adjusting to the bright lights that surrounded the room. Groaning, as she rubbed her back up and down, she sighs, watch the bag of medication go through the needle in her hand.
The door opens, as the doctor walks in, when he sees her staring right back at her he pauses his footsteps, eyes wide as he almost drops the medication bottle from his hand.
"Nice to see you too" Aerum stares.
The doctor quickly picks the medication bottle up, muttering a small apology as he walks to the stand, removing the previous bottle.
"Kun" She calls, noticing the way his hands tenses up as he injects the previous needle to the new bottle, allowing the medication to go through her body.
"Do you want me to call Renjun?" The doctor speaks. Aerum shakes her head in disapproval, her long bangs covered her view a little.
"I want to talk to you, actually."

"So how many days had it been?" Aerum munches on the chicken from the herb soup as Kun rips a wrapper for the sandwiches.
Their lunch had arrived, after confirming that Aerum was allowed to eat properly, the nurse had brought her she rice, with mix vegetables and chicken herbal soup, with some grapes and strawberies as a side dish and water. Kun hums as he muches on the sandwich.
"Thirteen days to be exact." Kun replies. "It was difficult at first, since I was no expert at removing bullets, plus you lost a lot of blood."
Aerum smiles, tucking her hair behind her ears as they ate in silence once more.
"I heard you speak the other day." Aerum says.
"Oh really, what did I say?" Kun's confusion replaces his tenses.
"Your confession." Aerum replies and that's all it takes for Kun to choke on his food.
Immediately, Aerum pours a glass of water for him, Kun thanks her, drinking the water up like a shot of wine as the coughing dies down.
"It was weird at first, since you never was like that " She giggles, stabbing the meat of the chicken. "But I realised you were serious, I mean this ain't the first time You've said things like this."
Kun smiles, throwing the plastic wrapper of the sandwich only to take a new one.
"At the moment, I'm still now sure about my feelings. " Aerum states.
Kun's breath hitches at the statement. Does she not like me? Did I fuck it up?
"But I would be glad to have a date with you" Aerum smiles, seeing how Kun's head was lifted up as he smiled.
The rest of lunch was spent eating, talking as much as they could, a sparkle of love filled the air.
