Chapter 15: Highschool of the Dead

"A-Are we really living here?"

Kaede asked as she stared at the gigantic mansion in front of them in awe. Looking around the facilities of the mansion as the sound of flowing water entered her ear from both sides.

The mansion was made up of three connected building, with two being the main room and one built for the sole purpose of bathing in the sun and enjoying a day in the pool. Making Hiroto nod his head in satisfaction as they walked through the stone path leading to the main part.

"... We have two pools?"

She said as she looked towards her right where a small pool next to a suite with a open movie room at the second floor. She then looked at the other pool at her right side. Seeing that this one had a large space at the sides of the pool with two lounge chairs placed at its side. All while a bar filled with different liquors was displayed on its shelves.

"... Why do we need two pools?"

"I don't know"

Hiroto plainly said before they entered the main house. Carrying both of their luggage inside before walking towards the living room. Making him place both of the large bags on the floor.

"... It's quite a quite a clean design"

He said as he looked around the interior design of the room. It had a decent exposure to the sunlight as a few of the walls were made out of hard tempered glass. Giving the room a relaxing vibe.

"This is heaven..."

Kaede muttered as she happily sat down on the couch. Making him smile at her direction before glancing at the large flat screen tv hanged on the wall.

"... Why does this place have so much TVs around..."

He muttered before he lifted the bag from the floor and climbed up the stairs. Leaving Kaede who laid down on the sofa while hugging the pillow in her arms.

"Kaede, do you want the room next to mine?"

He asked as he looked down on her from the stairs.

"I-I want to share a room with you..."

She said as she buried her face on the pillow. Hiding her expression from him, causing him to helplessly smile at her before he climbed up the stairs.

"... So this is why the system recommended this mansion"

Hiroto said as he stared at the long hallway of the second floor, filled with dozens of bedrooms while a single large door was in the end of the hallway. He then stepped onto the soft carpet as he made his way towards the master's bedroom.

"... I think I've gone a bit overboard with the mansion"

He said as he placed his hand on the door and pushed it open. Revealing a spacious room with a large king sized bed next to the wall. In front of it was a large window of fortied glass with a sofa placed facing it. For the sole purpose of admiring the view outside.

On the side is a large walk-in wardrobe that was at least as large as the other bedrooms was found. Containing a large mirror that they could use to test out their clothes. On the ceiling is a small chandelier that used to lit the wardrobe up.

Kaede's clothes, bags, and accessories that she bought with his sister a few days ago was already hanged, and neatly placed in the drawers. Taking up at least half of the space in the wardrobe.

"... I should buy some new clothes in Saturday... My clothes are getting pretty tight after I grew taller"

He said before he placed opened the bags and neatly placed the clothes in the drawers.
