Chapter 70: Date with Justice

"Oh! Everyone's really busy aren't they?"

Justice muttered as she walked through the rowdy streets of the town hand in hand with Hiroto. Making her look around in interest. Watching as every demon in the town decorate the streets in preparation for the festival tonight.

"It's a tradition of the town, after all. They do this every year without fail, and I even brought Beelzebub here to have fun in the past... though there's really nothing much to do because the real festival starts during the night"

Hiroto said before looking around the town to see what they could do to have fun. Making him let out a mental sigh before glancing at her direction.

'... This is the first time I'm going on a date with a tomboyish girl... I have no idea where to take her'

He thought with a difficult expression on his face while he tried to remember anything that Justice likes in his memory.

"Hiroto, what's that?"

Justice asked as she pulled on his sleeve. Making him turn his head to look at the newly built shop in town. A shop that was owned by Baphomet to spread trendy human delicacies in the underworld.

"Ice cream?"

He muttered in surprise while looking at the shop. Surprised that frozen foods like that can exist in this realm that is under a constant temperature of greater than 40°C.

"Want one?"

He asked, causing Justice to look at his direction before shaking her head to the sides.

"You paying?"

"Naturally"

Hiroto said with a sigh before pulling Justice towards the shop. Making Justice quietly follow him with her hand locked around his.

"Welcome!"

The cashier greeted them with a friendly smile on her face while wearing a pink tight skirt. Making Hiroto walk towards her while looking at the menu hanged on the wall behind her.

"Choose anything you like"

He said, causing Justice to place her hand below her chin before looking at the menu. Making her look at it in awe as she saw a myriad of different flavors offered by the shop.

"Sundae??"

She asked in confusion as the foreign name entered her eyes.

"... I guess I'll just have coffee, I can't really stomach sweet food that much"

Hiroto muttered in astonishment while looking at the different choices offered by the shop. Making him look at Justice who was intently staring at the picture of the hot fudge sundae on the menu.

"I'll get one large hot fudge sundae, and... a cup of black coffee"

He said before taking out two gold coins from his inventory and placing it on top of the counter. Making the cashier show a smile before grabbing the coins on the counter and made a receipt for his purchase.

"Thank you for ordering, will it be a dine in or take out?"

"Dine in"

He said, causing the cashier to nod her head in response before grabbing a large bowl from her side and proceeding to prepare his orders. Making Hiroto guide Justice towards an empty seat inside of the shop.

"It's been centuries since I last ate out. It kind of makes me feel excited being able to eat with someone like this again"

She said with a smile on her face while looking around the shop and its customers in curiosity. Making Hiroto look at her with a gentle smile on his face due to her cute reactions.
