"A lot of survivors here are really worthless, aren't they?"
Hiroto said with a frown on his face. Seeing how carefree the survivors in this camp. Casually chatting with one another like nothing was wrong as they heavily relied on the subordinates of Takagi's family for food and protection.
"... They're still delusional and haven't seen the state of the world. They still don't believe that the pandemic has turned everyone into walking corpses. You don't have to pay them any mind, Hiroto"
Takagi said as she glanced the people that her parents were protecting with a frown on her face. Making Hiroto sigh before they made one last tour around the place, causing Hiroto to place his hand on his chin. Contemplating of the possible scenarios that might happen.
'... From what I've seen... They can't run, but they can increase their speed by a bit if they're trying to grab someone... if they faces a wall... They'll just walk to it and crowd the other side'
He thought as he tried to predict whether or not the zombies of this world can do the same as the zombies from world war Z. Where they use each other as a stepping stone to climb a tall wall, but based on his observations from fighting them for 3 days. He can safely assume that they couldn't, and even if they can. He'll just need to ask a few of camp's soldiers to protect it.
"What are you planning on doing, Hirito?"
Takagi asked, causing Hiroto to show a large smile on his face as a reckless and crazy idea formed in his mind.
'I can't completely block this place or else the people here would have a hard time finding food and supplies... we might need to kill as many of them as we could... I don't know if it would consume a lot of my mana like back then... but it's worth the try'
He thought. He needs 1 day to recover all of his mana, and since the stampede will happen tomorrow. He could fortify the place for today, so that tomorrow, all he will worry about is killing as much zombies as he can to decrease their number to prevent future zombie stampede.
When they were still at the masionette, he could cast 12 [Blaze] without feeling any exhaustion, and in the game. [Earth Wall] has the same rate of consumption as [Blaze]. He estimated that he'll use twice that amount to cover the entire estate. It cost a large amount of mana that's why he decided to use the second method that he discovered in the past 2 days.
He can increase the intensity of the spell by pouring in more mana than usual and envisioning what form it would take. Thanks to his high magic affinity, he could do it, but it is still hard to control it. All he can do is cut off his mana to stop the spell and that's it.
'Though I'll get a mouthful from them... It's not like they can do anything about it once it's done'
He said as he glanced at Takagi. Remembering how they reacted when he passed out.
"Why do I feel like you're planning on something reckless again?"
"That's just your imagination..."
He said before he placed his hand on the ground. Making her look at him in confusion as Hiroto concentrated a large portion of his mana onto his hand.
"Hirot- Ah!!"
She tried to call out but fell on her butt as the ground started to violently shake. Creating a terrifying earthquake around the entire estate as Hiroto spread his mana on the ground. Sending it towards the location that he remembered during his tour with Takagi.
"[Earth Wall]"
He casted, causing the ground on the borders of the estate to suddenly break and form a rectangular slab made from rocks and soil on the ground. Slowly rising up, causing the survivors in the camp to panic as they saw the spectacle that was happening in front of them.
