Chapter 72: First Night with Justice

"Hiroto... can you wait in the living room for a few minutes? I need to prepare something. I'll call for you once I'm done"

Justice said while tugging on his sleeves as they entered the mansion. Making Hiroto look back at her with a confused expression on his face.

"Sure but... what are you preparing for?"

"... it's a surprise"

She said, causing Hiroto to sigh before nodding his head in response. Making Justice show a bright smile on her face before hurriedly running upstairs.

"Don't peak, alright!?"

She reminded as she turned her head back to look in his direction. Making Hiroto raise a thumbs-up to tell her that he won't.

"... Why do I feel like Beel has something do to with this?"

He muttered with his hand placed on top of his mouth in contemplation but decided to take it off his mind.

"I'm sure Beel wouldn't teach her anything stupid, right?"

He said before walking towards the living room and sitting down on the sofa in front of the television. Making him grab the remote beside him and turn on the tv to watch the news. Something that he would normally do out of habit because the news would tell him a lot of information about potential hunting grounds.

"There aren't a lot of news about the 8th layer and the current high officers in the past few weeks. Did something happen in the palace?"

He muttered before someone grabbed the remote from his hand. Making Hiroto look up to see Beelzebub wearing a thin robe while her hair was soaking wet. Telling him that she just got out of the bath.

"How was your date?"

She asked with a teasing smile on her face before she sat down beside him. Leaning her head on his shoulder, causing her robe to slightly slide off her body.

"It was alright... I did make a bit of progress with her, but... I kind of hoped that she wouldn't act too shy around me. I liked the carefree and casual attitude that she had before"

"Hmm... Is she your type, dear?"

She asked, causing Hiroto to let out a light smile on his face before leaning his back on the sofa.

"... You could say that... Out of all the demons that I'm planning to have in my harem. She was the one that I really look forward to... since I liked her even before I met you, Beel"

"It makes me kind of sad that I wasn't the first one you were interested in, dear"

"... but you're the one I've been the longest with. That's why you're the only one that really made me feel like I was a part of a family in this hell"

He said as he caressed the back of her head, causing Beelzebub to flash a coquettish smile on her face. Making her unconsciously try and give him a kiss on his lips but remembered her deal with Justice. She refrained from doing anything and just stood up from her seat before she gets swept in by the mood.

"Maybe not today, you need to preserve your stamina for later, after all"

She said with a mysterious smile on her face. Making Hiroto look at her in confusion but stopped as he heard Justice shout his name from the second floor of the mansion.

"I'm done, Hiroto! You can come up now!"

She yelled, causing Beelzebub to smack the back of his head with an encouraging expression. Making Hiroto fall down on the table face first due to the force of her 'playful' smack.
