Chapter 127: Invitation

"Hiroto-san! Did you hear!?"

Yoshida excitedly asked as she and Hiroto sat down on the rooftop to have lunch. Enjoying the peaceful atmosphere at this desolate area while most of the students were gathering at the cafeteria to buy their lunch. Making Hiroto look at her while taking a bite of the melon bread in his hand.

"What's wrong?"

"They invited me out to hang out with them!"

Yoshida answered while showing him the contact details of some of their female classmates. Making Hiroto's eye twitch in response since after all his effort, they took advantage of the time he was in the bathroom to associate with her. But since it was already done, he can't just tell her to ignore them.

"They asked me if we can go home together and hang out! I finally got to accept someone's invite to hangout. I always hesitated back at middle school because I was a bit scared... but finally I worked up enough courage to accept it"

She said with a joyful smile on her face. Making Hiroto gently pat her head.

"Good for you"

He said, but deep inside he was worried. Worried that the same event might occur, so he plans to make his subordinates follow her to protect her and report to him what happened.

"Mn! Hiroto-san, let's all go home together!"

She said with a look of expectation in her eyes. Hoping that he'll accept so that they can all go home together. Making Hiroto silently look at her before taking a bite of the bread in his hand like he was contemplating.

"I think I'll only ruin the mood if I join you, since from the looks of it, you're all girls, right? I'll stick out like a sore thumb because of that"

"But... they asked me to invite you..."

She said in a hesitant voice, causing Hiroto to raise his eyebrows before letting out a short chuckle. Making Yoshida look at him in confusion due to his weird reaction.

'So that's it... they're trying to reach me through her, huh? Should I say that this is a good thing, or a bad thing?'

He thought before deeply contemplating. Since the attention is now shifted to him rather than her. This makes it a lot easier for him since he could guess that they would often invite him out together with Yoshida. With this, he can ensure her safety even when she's hanging out with her so called 'friends'. He already sent his subordinates to gather blackmail materials for each of their classmates. So, as long as they don't do anything stupid, he'll let them enjoy their lives a bit more before crushing them.

'The parents of those idiots are also working at my parents companies so... I really hope I don't have to resort to ruining their entire lives... at least not yet. It's much more fun to see them despair when they least expect it, especially if it happened after they're having fun'

He thought as a smile unconsciously formed on his face. Making Yoshida's expression to brighten as she read it as positive sign, causing her to stare intently at his direction.
