Chapter 69: Date?

"Morning!!"

Justice loudly greeted as she kicked the door open with an energetic smile on her face. Making Hiroto, who was reading a newspaper, flinch in surprise from the sudden loud bang early in the morning.

"I told you to knock, didn't I?"

Hiroto said with a helpless smile on his face while looking at Justice, who brought back two boxes of pizza with her, at the door. Making Justice shrug her shoulder before placing the boxes at the small table near the sofa. 

"Where's the other 2? Did you fuck em too hard last night?"

"We didn't do anything last night, I was out of the mansion and had to hunt to cool myself down. Beelzebub is still sleeping in the bedroom and Azazel... well... let's just say that Azazel went back to heaven to report her findings"

He said with a slightly depressing atmosphere around him, causing Justice to look at him with a curious expression on her face. Wondering why he was acting like this, but instead of asking him. She just smacked his shoulder with her hand before flashing a smile in his direction. 

"Stop with the long face. You need to enjoy life while it lasts. I'm sure you'll be able to solve whatever you're thinking about, so smile and have fun"

She comforted with a wide smile before opening the box of pizza and turning on the television in the living room like she owned the place. 

"My favorite show is on air so I hope you don't mind me borrowing your television for an hour or two"

"... Just keep the volume down, Beelzebub is still sleeping"

He said as Justice switched the channel to an action series being aired once a week during weekends.

"Want coffee?"

"Sure! I'll have ground coffee if you have any"

She asked as she watched Hiroto enter the kitchen to prepare coffee for both of them. Making Justice return her attention back to her show before grabbing a slice of pizza from the box. 

"Oh yeah, Hiroto. You don't mind me staying here for the night, right? I kind of gave up my hotel room so that we'll have enough money to buy food and water for the trip. I'll owe you one if you let me sleep here for the night"

She said as she took a bite of the cheesy pizza in her hand. 

"Where are your subordinates staying?"

"You don't need to worry about them. One of them had a house in the nearby town, so that's where they're currently staying while we're here. I was the only one who rented a hotel room because I didn't really have any acquaintances in this place... well that is except for you"

"... Why didn't you just stay with your subordinates?"

"They feel uncomfortable when their superior sleep in the same house as them. That's why I didn't bother barging in because I'll only ruin the mood if I did. This is also kind of like a vacation for them, that's why I didn't want to stress them out too much"

She said as Hiroto came back from the kitchen while carrying two coffee mugs in his hand. Making Justice flash a grateful smile in his direction as Hiroto placed the two cups on the table.

"So, how about it? Can I stay here for one night?"

She asked once again while pushing the box of pizza close to his side of the table. Making Hiroto reach out to grab a slice before looking at Justice with a neutral expression on his face.

"You can stay in the guest room, but I was still cleaning it so it might be a little dusty. No one ever uses the guest room so we didn't bother cleaning it that much"
