Chapter 51: Confronting Aiko

"I'll give you 3 minutes so make it quick"

Hiroto said with an impatient expression on his face as both him and Aiko entered the rooftop of the school. Making Aiko to frown at him, but decided to hold it in since if she retaliate here. It would only ruin her plans.

"... Hiroto"

She called as her expression switched into a serious one as she walked closer to him. Making Hiroto furrow his eyebrows as he watched her move closer.

"I'm sorry!"

She exclaimed as she bowed her head down in front of him. Looking down on the ground with a grieved expression on her face. But earned no response from Hiroto who only looked down at her with a stoic expression on his face.

"I-I had no choice back then... K-Kaito forced me into it, a-and I had no choice but to do it since he said he would expel me from school... Y-You know how strict my parents are. T-They would kill me if they found out, and... my parents were pushing me to get together with Kaito... I-I know I have no right to say this"

She said before looking up at Hiroto with an "pained" expression on her face like she remembered the horrible experiences that she suffered in Kaito's hand.

Making him cover his own mouth with his hand while looking at her direction, causing Aiko to victoriously smile in her mind. Thinking that Hiroto was convinced with her acting.

"Kaito can't force me to do what he wants anymore since his now in the hospital, and from what I heard... He won't be coming back for a while because of the severe trauma and injuries that he suffered yesterday, and I don't think my parents would be as supportive of him like before.... since his thing was cut-off..."

She said before looking at Hiroto with a determined and serious expression on her face.

"I just hope to clear the misunderstanding between us so that I can have some peace of mind... I hope that... you'll forgive me... If you can't forgive me, I understand. I'll try my best to stay out of your sight..."

She added with a gentle smile on her face. Taking a few step back before placing her hand on her chest and letting out a sigh of relief.

Hiroto said as his expression suddenly changed. Looking at Aiko with visible concern in his eyes. Walking towards her before wrapping her arms around her body. Making Aiko's lips to unconsciously form a grin.

"You must've suffered a lot..."

He said, causing Aiko to try and hug him back but was stopped by Hiroto who leaned his head close to her ear.

Hiroto said before he suddenly grabbed her shoulder and pushed her away. Making her collide against the wall as Hiroto looked at him with a sarcastic smile on his face.

"I'm not as brain-dead and naive like your friends, Aiko"

He said before he suddenly grabbed her chin with his right hand. Staring at her directly in the eye while his killing intent leaked out of his body. Making Aiko's eyes widen from feeling a great sense of fear suddenly washed her body.

"You should be really grateful... I'm holding back this much when I always had the urge to just rip off that face of yours. Looking at you makes me sick"

He said as his grip tightned on his chin. Making Aiko's body unconsciously tremble seeing how serious he was when he said those words.

"Do yourself a favour and stop bothering me, got that? Before I remodel your precious face with bruises. You don't want that, right?"
