Luffy x Reader [Requested] [3]

Day 1

Day one was hard on the crew as they sailed along the calm seas; you still haven't woken up yet but Luffy was by your side all night and still hasn't left your side even after the several times Chopper came in to check up on your health. Luffy was holding your hand in his as he watched you lay there on the bed.

He would eat from time to time but Sanji would always have to bring it to him because he didn't want to leave your side in case you would wake up or needed help for anything; the crew didn't like seeing Luffy like this, not being is normal and goofy self was worrying because everyone knew that you were his light when he was always having a hard time with something.

Having you in the bed was worrying; anything could happen, you could wake up and not remember anything, wake up and be damaged forever or never wake up at all and that would be heart breaking for Luffy because he always enjoyed his time with you any time of day or night, hearing your laughing and seeing your smile that was always as bright as his.

Day 2

Another day went by and once again you didn't wake up again even though Chopper said you would maybe wake up in ten days but Luffy was always there no matter what day it is; he made a promise to not leave your side at all. He would always talk to you with a small yet sad smile on his face as he spoke to you, it was sad to see him like this and not being able to do anything to help you wake up and to help Luffy.

The biggest thing he feared was loosing your forever, like he lost his brother loosing you would bring him to the edge of grief once again; the crew wouldn't be able to help him in anyway not even the thought of fighting an emperor didn't bring a smile to his face anymore when they would talk about the plans. Nothing was working and it was very worrying for everyone knowing this was going to last for several more days.

Soon the third day came and then the fourth day; every single day that came and went was torture for Luffy, waking up every morning and rushing to your side to see that you haven't woken up yet made his hopes go down once again.

He was always trying to act like nothing was bothering him and tried to act like his normal self around the others but they could see right through his looks when he would try to smile or laugh, it wasn't the same at all.

Without you being around Luffy was no longer his happy bouncy self, it was almost like he was turning himself into a ghost when he would see you in that bed still out cold with no signs of waking up any time soon it broke his heart and everyone could see that, they tried talking to him about this and tried to cheer him up in anyway that they knew he loved to do.

But nothing was helping him, he always had a sad l look on his face no matter what they would say or do, even when they try to make him talk about this he would surprisingly snap at them which would make them surprised that he would even snap at them for trying to help him but they couldn't help him the only person that could help him was you and you alone and they missed you and needed you to wake up so that Luffy wasn't left alone in the darkness they knew he was slowly going towards with each passing day.

Soon the days turned into ten days like Chopper said you would wake up; it was early in the morning when everyone heard Chopper yelling for everyone to wake up. Which brought everyone out of their sleep and jump out of their beds to rush out to the deck and see what Chopper was yelling about this early in the morning.

"what is it?" Robin asked with a worried tone.

"Its [Y-Y/N] she's awake!" he shouted out with some hope in his eyes when he spoke.

Everyone was surprised at the news, in a flash Luffy was the first one to run to the medical room having his heart beat loudly in his chest like it was about to jump right out; his head was racing with the many thoughts he thought about when this first happened.

"Y/N?" he asked when he opened the door to the medical room seeing you sitting up in bed looking towards him with your big [E/C] eyes meeting his eyes.

The question now was di you remember him? Or were your memories of everyone on this ship lost forever to the battle that happened ten days ago.
