Ace X OC [My Playboy Cowboy]

[A/N: A Sneak Peek to a new book I will write some day in modern times, also trigger for bullying if not comfortable or are trigged with bad memories of bullying please do not read]

It was just another day at New World High School it was a good school to go to and to find plenty of friends during the years of high school but, I think I was the only one without any friends outside my family circle which include my half brother and his friends here. 

My name is Lilly I'm seventeen years old with blond hair I always kept braided in pigtails, I also had blue eyes that my mother used to have; I was a very shy girl so I didn't talk much but I honesty didn't want to talk since my words for speaking were different than other's in the school, like how people say 'hello' I say 'Ello'  or 'nothing is 'othing' to me and so on with my talking another big reason why people in the school teased me and some girls bullied me for it. 

I just kept my head down staring at the school tile floor as I walked down the hall to my locker, my mind was filled with things on my mind for the day; I had to get school work done and also people around here were all up in arms about the home coming dance for the people who were graduating this year. My brother and his friends were included in that and also my crush throughout my two years being here. I sighed to myself when I reached my locker, unlocking it i placed my bag inside taking out the books I needed for my classes for the day.

"Well, well if it isn't the weirdo" a voice belonging to one of the girl's who bullied me spoke out which only made me sigh.

"To bad no one will ask you to the dance, I wonder if you might ask someone oh! That's right you can barely talk right" she said again.

Her name was Saya Higa a wealthy only child with black and and red eyes making her look like a vampire of some kind, she started bullying me verbally the moment I opened my mouth when I spoke out in English class and ever since then she has never left me alone.

I just closed my locker and locked it not saying anything to her or her group behind her that always was with her no matter where they went around this city; I tried walking pass her and her group but her friends stepped in front of me making sure I didn't go anything.

"Hey, I was talking to you!" she shouted out at me.

"So?" was all I said having my voice sound a little raspy and weird.

"Tsk, you're such a loser I bet you'll show up all alone and now one will dance with you! Why don't you do us all a favor and not show up" she kept going hitting me where it hurt the most since I never had much friends outside my brother's friends or even had a boyfriend yet.

Her friends laughed as she did making me hold my books closer to my chest trying not to cry in front of them; I wanted to punch them all but I made a promise to my mother before she died that I would be good and not get into any fights with anyone.

"That's enough Saya" a deep voice came out from behind us making us turn.

My blue eyes widened when I saw Ace the star of our schools basketball team standing behind us, he must have just been walking in for practice since he had his gym bag slung over his shoulder holding it with his right hand.

"Oh, Ace hi! We were just talking" Saya said so sweetly to him trying to hide her evilness.

"Saya, I might act dumb with something's but knowing who is in the wrong is something I'm not dumb at. So don't treat me like those idiots you call boyfriends and scram" Ace said to her in a serious tone that you rarely hear.

He is known as a playboy in the school not as bad as Sanji but he was just so nice and adorable that all the girls were just around him and he was to sweet to say no to them; but when it came to Saya and her bullshit he had it stop right there since he hated bullies.

Her smile turn into a small pout before she snapped her fingers together having her girls break up and walk away as she stood next to Ace smirking up at him.

"Sooner or later, you will be mine" she whispered but loudly enough for me to hear since it was easy to tell who I had a crush on.

He said nothing to her as she walked away swaying her hips as she slightly pushed me out of her way when i held my books tighter so they didn't fall on the ground.

"You okay?" Ace asked me when he brought his attention to me now.

"I-I am" I stuttered a bit but hated myself for my way of talking.

He seem to see my embarrassed face, which only made him smile warmly and chuckle a bit before standing closer to me which made me blush a bit; this was the Ace I knew and loved always making a girl blush no matter what happened afterwards. But the weird thing was he never stood this close to me or even talked to me this long before it was always a hello or a goodbye.

"That's good" he said with his smile still on his face that made my heart just dance when I looked at him.

"Lilly!" the voice of my brother Killerc came out which made my head snap back to see him and his friends Kid, Heat and Wire walk up to us.

"Ello, bro" I said to him.

They stood in front of me and Ace, but Kid stood between me and Ace staring him down as Ace just smirked at him; these boys were all protective of me like a little sister but sometimes it gets out of hand more so with Kid than with the other's.

"What the hell do you want, playboy?" Kid hissed out the question to Ace.

"Just talking" was all Ace said to him as he shrugged.

"Guys, its othing" I said trying to not get them to fight.

"Its okay Lilly, I'll see you in class later" he said to me knowing what its like being overprotective about someone.

"K' was all I said when he headed to the basketball court to practice with the other's. I really wish I could just talk to Ace even for a few minutes longer but I honestly wish I knew what he thought of me since it was hard to tell with him sometimes on what he was thinking. I just hope that he didn't think of me as a weirdo.
