Kid X Reader [Two Years] [4]

It was around the early morning when [Y/N] heard a sound coming from the room where Kid was sleeping; knowing he was up she got up putting on her robe as she walked out of her room and to her patient room to see Kid struggling to sit up on his own gritting his teeth from the pain still in his arm.

[Y/N] sighed for a moment before walking over to him placing her hand on his shoulder which brought his attention to her in a flash but she knew nothing dangerous would happen since he couldn't do anything to her at this moment in time but [Y/N] wasn't really afraid of him either so that was a plus.

"Who the hell are you?" Kid growled through his gritted teeth as he stared daggers at her.

"I'm [Y/N] the woman who patched you up when I noticed your crew and ship were in a bad state; so I will be not taking any kind of lip from you" she introduced herself as she helped him sit up knowing full well he would have a mouth full of words about being taken care of a woman for sure.

He began to open his mouth to shout out whatever words he was thinking but for a moment the look from [Y/N]'s face made him instantly close his mouth which he found interesting since that has never happened with anyone that he has met but something about you made him do it.

She began the normal exam first before unwrapping his arm and the bandage around his left eyes since it needed to be changed after him moving around; [Y/N] raised a small flashlight to his left eye shining it into it which made him pull away from her.

"Fuck that bright" he growled when he pulled back.

"Good means you won't be blind in that eye" [Y/N] said as blunt as ever before going to his arms.

Placing her small hands on his arm made him somehow slightly shiver at the touch of hers skin but [Y/N] looked it over thinking her hands were just cold; checking the stitches carefully she could see they were holding well with his moving around to sit up. Grabbing new bandages [Y/N] began to wrap his arm and eye again.

"Any reason why your helping me?" he asked a little out of nowhere but it didn't surprise her that he asked her since his first mate Killer asked the same question.

"Your friend Killer asked the same thing and my reasons are I had a brother who was a pirate" she explained as she tied the bandage together on his arm.

He just made a 'Tsk' which [Y/N] gently shook her head with just a small smile on her face before looking at the time seeing it was three in the morning which made her sigh softly before looking at Kid again.

"You okay to walk not feeling any dizziness?" she asked while she looked at him.

"I'm fine....." was all he said as he looked at her in her [E/C] eyes.

"Alright follow me than, I have an extra room upstairs its better than sleeping in here" she said as Kid stood up to follow her through the door and up the stairs of her house before coming to another bedroom.

"If you feel any pain take these pills only one if you need to don't take more every two hours, I'll be down the hall in my room I'm sure Killer will be here in the morning to see you" [Y/N] explained as she placed a bottle of pain pills on the nightstand next to the bed making sure that he was listening to her clearly before walking to the door saying a quick 'sleep well' before closing the door.

Kid just sighed as he sat down on the bed which was going to take some time to get use to since he couldn't even remember the last time he slept in a proper bed living on the seas it was rough even though it was great but something about this place and [Y/N] just made him feel something that he thought he would never really feel again but he was going to say anything that he could somehow trust her to help him; so he just laid down on the bed staring at the ceiling before soon finding himself falling asleep until the sun would wake him up soon.
