"You were seen last with the victim's husband before he went home and killed her" Ace pointed at a photo of the victim's husband sitting with the young red hair girl who sat in front of him in the interrogation room.

"So? I was paid by him to investigate his wife not my problem she was unfaithful, and he lashed out at her" she leaned back in her chair crossing her arms together while crossing her right leg over her left letting her skirt rise a bit more to show the skin of her thigh.

Ace growled showing his wolf side a bit when his brown eyes flashed a bit red, miss Angelina Bookman a well-known journalist for crime most of the case's he has looked over she had been a part of; a young woman of twenty-three has ganged the trust of the policemen of New York and was given a medal by the chief himself in 2040 when she was only eighteen. The lights in the room gave her brown eyes a certain glow to them while she smirked at Ace like this was a waste of her time to begin with.

"Don't play with me, you have something to do with this and don't think because you have connection to the police that it will save you" Ace stood up from his chair leaning a bit closer to her while her smirk still stayed on her face never breaking away from his gaze.

"Playing games is fun detective, you should try it sometimes; maybe you might a little excitement" Angelina smirked again before leaning in just as close to Ace until their lips almost touched when she whispered.

The slight touch of her lips against his sent a pleasant shiver through his body; letting his wolf senses go haywire almost but he held himself back by clenching his fists together, her very scent was an interesting one. The smell of spices and leather, no other scent smelt like her and yet she somehow was getting under his skin.

"Your charm isn't going to work on me, guard dog! One way or another you will be put behind bars" Ace reached out and held her neck in his left hand not breaking away her air but just enough force to feel it.

"Guess we'll have our own little game" she only smirked again when Ace let go of her neck allowing her to stand up from her chair and turn away from him.

Reaching the door Angelina turned her head to look over her shoulder back at Ace; giving him a wink and a giggle before opening the door and leaving the room and the station, Ace could only growl as bit when he closed the case file on the table hating how Angelina treated this like a game; true he used to be like that but he found out better to treat everything like a game.
