Luffy x Fem Reader [Fairytales]

"I don't want to get married!" Luffy shouted in the throne room loud enough to hurt the ears of those who stood in the room.

"Luffy, being a prince and heir to the kingdom you have to marry a princess" Dragon his father sighed heavily while pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Make Ace or Sabo do it!" Luffy pointed to his brothers who stood in the throne room knowing this wouldn't go well since Luffy was still young and wanting adventure.

"Since they are not blood, they cannot take the throne you have to" Dragon argued even though it would be easy to have Ace or Sabo marry a princess and be king, but rules were rules.

"NO, I WON'T DO IT!!" Luffy shouted before turning away and rushing out of the throne room leaving them behind in the room to talk amongst themselves.

-small skip-

Luffy didn't want to be in the castle anymore and since he wasn't allowed to leave the castle, he found a way to sneak out, taking an outfit from the knight's apprentice quarters to sneak out to the village that was outside of the castle walls, the village was lively and wonderful, and he didn't know why he never was allowed to see it even with Ace and Sabo and they always went to the village.

He wondered around with no place in mind to go and he knows that sooner or later Ace, Sabo or both will be out to look for him since he was last seen in his room and that plan only works for so long; but as he was looking around, he bumped into someone having them drop something on the ground.

"Oh, sorry" she said as she kneeled down the same time as Luffy did.

"It was my fault" Luffy said as he reached out for the book at was dropped having their hands touch.

they both looked up at each other, having a pause moment as they're eyes met face to face; Luffy didn't know what happened, but it felt like everything just paused around them and it was just them as they both stood slowly up still looking at each other.

"Um, h-here" Luffy stuttered when he held out her book that was dropped.

"Oh, thank you" she smiled warmly with a blush as she took the book from Luffy having their fingers graze each other making them blush again.

"My name is [y/n]" she said holding her hand out to Luffy while telling him his name.

"Names L-" Luffy took her hand in his to shake before he said his name to her, he was interrupted.

"LUFFY!!!" the shout of Ace made him jump and tense up, turning around seeing A worried/pissed off Ace marching towards them both with Sabo behind him looking relieved to see Luffy safe.

"Oh, hey Ace" Luffy waved at Ace with a big smile on his face wishing Ace won't punch him right now.

"Don't hey me, you are coming back right NOW!!" Ace growled when he grabbed Luffy's shirt with both his hands.

[Y/n] stood there shocked as she watched not knowing she was talking to the young prince; she might not have known what he looked like, but her father told her about the young prince's since he was the head knight.

"Sorry if Luffy was a problem, he ran away for a while" Sabo spoke to [y/n] who turned her attention to him who was rubbing his neck knowing Luffy was a handful.

"Oh no prince Sabo, he was just fine" [y/n] said with a warm smile looking back at Luffy with a blush on her cheeks when he and Ace were play fighting really. 

She couldn't help but giggle at them not really picturing the prince's to be this nice and so funny to be around but there was a warm place for Luffy in her heart.

"Can [y/n] come with us?" Luffy suddenly asked when he soon stood beside her.

"Huh?" Ace was confused looking at Sabo who chuckle.

"I was actually heading there anyways, my father forgot some of his stuff" [y/n] cleared up since she was heading there anyways.

"Wait who is your father?" Luffy couldn't help but ask when he looked at her with confusing.

"Oh, grand master Smoker" she smiled brightly talking about her father, but the boys were shocked so much that their faces made her laugh out loud.

Luffy just shrugged and grabbed her hand in his making her heart thump strongly as he started dragging her away towards the castle, Sabo and Ace shouted for Luffy as they followed behind them both; [y/n] couldn't help but smile brightly as she and Luffy ran to the castle hand in hand without a care in the world not knowing that true love at first sight had hit them both strongly,
