There were many ways that this problem could go down but it had to take the worst turn for anything. The crash was hard and strong, luckily the crash was in an abounded factory somewhere in a city. Being away from human eyes was a good thing right now, Thatch groaned as he slowly stood from the crumble roof and dust around him.
Being covered in cuts and bruises from a battle that shouldn't have been too hard to win but it was. Glancing behind him, he could see his wings not in the best shape. His right wing was the worst, already seeing it broken in so many places; sighing heavily he growled a bit through gritted teeth he pulled both his wings back into his back feeling how badly his right wing felt when it morphed into his back.
Standing up he limped out of the factory, coming to the sights of the city of New York during the night life. The sounds of the city were soft but still hearable; sighing again he knew he had to find a place to lay low. He didn't know what he was going to do now, everything that happened was still a bit of a shock to him really and he didn't know what was going to happen to him or to anyone he knows. Looking like he got into a bar fight didn't cause to many looks from humans who walked by him, without a care in the world about what life was truly like.
In his lost of thought, he suddenly bumped into someone making her jump on impact. Seeing her [e/c] eyes sparkling in the city lights as her [h/l] [h/c] hair framed her face perfectly as Thatch stared at her in shock.
"S-sorry I didn't see you" she spoke with a stutter as she blushed a bit.
"No it was my fault no need to apologies" Thatch smiled warmly at her somehow feeling some sort of pull towards this human.
"Are you okay? You get into a fight or something?" she couldn't help but ask when she noticed the cuts and bruises.
"Something like that, I'm Thatch by the way" he dry chuckled before holding his hand out to her giving her his name.
"You can call me [Y/n]" she smiled warmly taking his hand in her giving it a shake.
The moment their hands touched, he could feel something was different about her. Her spirit was a mystery to him, normally he could see the light of someone's spirit. But with her it was different, no light was shimmering around her maybe he was slowly losing his powers but maybe it was something else.
"Well, I hope you don't mind me asking. Care to get something to eat? You look like you could use some" she smiled again offering to help him right now and he knew that he could use it right now.
"Sounds like fun" he smiled warmly at her, before he walked on her right side following her down the street to a small little cafe that she knew. Thing's might be rocky right now but maybe things were going to get better; but time was only going to tell them.
