Doflamingo x Reader [Request]

The alarm was going crazy within the large jail, the guard running around like they were on fire as they shouted out for any information on the prisoner that had escaped his cell, or more like had help escaping his cell.

I was part of Doflamingo's crew when Luffy and the others came to the island and started bringing war to the paradise Doffy created for the people on that island; I wasn't going to let him rot in a cell all alone in the dark. He saved me plenty of times in the past, so it was my time to save him in return. I played the strawhat crew like fools in making them believe that I was forced to be a part of his crew, their captain is a fool for sappy stories and so are the others as well if played right; the next moment I had the chance I jumped ship and sailed to rescue my captain and maybe my crush as well but he never knew that and he doesn't need to know it either.

Both me and Doflamingo stayed in the shadows as we made our way out of the building as swiftly as we could with all the guards were running around trying to find us.

"Not bad of a plan, but not one of your best ones" Doflamingo said still grinning like a mad man when he looked down at me.

"I didn't have much time and that ship before leaving" I whispered back to him, knowing I couldn't make a full proof plan that would be easier and not catch the guard's attention like it has.

Once the cost of was clear, we both made out way to another door that was heading up out of this place; I may not have powers like Doffy did, but I was better at strategies and stealth missions; that was the main reason he wanted me to become a part of his crew. I was surprisingly his second in command within the crew, some didn't like the idea of it, but Doffy wasn't changing his mind about it.

"This way" I said as we ran to the left opening up a door, but to my surprise they were waiting for us with guns at the ready.

"FIRE!" the commander shouted, allowing them to shoot freely.

I didn't think twice as I pushed Doflamingo out of the way making me take some of the bullets; Dolfamingo pulled me out from getting hit by more bullets, picking me up in his arms he started running down another hall to escape the marines that were chasing us.

Slipping into another room, Doflamingo blocked the door; letting the many footsteps run pass the room still thinking we were still running. He slowly got his breath back as he sat down on the ground leaning against the wall, but his attention turning to me already seeing the damage that I took; I was hit in the stomach, leg, arm and somewhere in the chest. I already knew I wasn't going to make it with how much I was losing blood.

"You damn idiot, you could've jumped out of the way too" Doflamingo said to me lifting his hand up to use his powers to stitch me up, but I stopped his hand from using it; there was too much damage done for him to use not to mention it wouldn't be permanent.

"I- I knew t-the risk, c-coming here" I struggled to breath while I spoke to him knowing that one of us would have died and I rather it be me then him.

"You didn't have to save me" he said knowing he would have been fine with his powers being of use to him.

"Y-you're my c-captain; I w-would always p-protect y-you" I said already feeling my strength slowly starting to fail me as I fought the urge to close my eyes and come to darkness.

"Guess that makes us even" Doflamingo pointed out how many times he saved me and doing this covered all those times when he saved me.

I couldn't help but smile weakly at him but coughed having blood come out of my mouth as I caught my breath once more.

"T-the exit, s-should be close b-by.......I-I was h-happy you w-were my c-captain" I said knowing which part of the jail we were in, but I smiled weakly again at Doflamingo when I looked up at him with my tired eyes.

"You weren't so bad yourself kiddo" He said knowing I was the best second commander he had in his crew.

"F-for what i-its worth, I-I....will l-love you e-even in d-death..." I had to say it, or I would never be able to, once those words left my lips. My eyes finally gave in and closed letting my body go limp in his arms but at least I told him that I loved him.

Doflamingo sat there with her in his arms shocked that she loved him, it was something he never thought he would hear anyone say again; all he could do was look at her in his arms covering him in her blood. He stood up with her in his arms still as his face was nothing but serious that he was ready to kill anyone who moved or even breathed funny; he followed her direction and found a way out of the jail seeing the light of day once more, the breeze was warm and gentle as he stood with her in his arms still, not saying anything he found the small boat that she was planning to use to get them out of here. He felt a single tear fall from his eye; he could only look up at the sky that was blue as the tear fell.

"Damn it....." he said finally letting a few more tears fall as he held [y/n] in his arms knowing he lost the only person in the world that cared for him.
