Luffy x Fem Reader [Fairytale] [P2]

Luffy still held [y/n]'s hand as they walked through the gate to the castle, it was still amazing to see even if she has been her three times already; but she was nervous wondering what Luffy is going to do when someone sees them walking hand in hand together, Ace and Sabo didn't seem to care in a good way she just hope others thought the same. Sure, she was of high birth but not a princess and rules were rules in this kingdom and that has never changed.

Walking through the halls, the commotion seemed to die down when all eyes were on Luffy now; they were glad he was safe and not running away. But they needed to report to his father to show Luffy was unharmed, shouting could be heard from the throne room as they came closer to the doors until they opened showing Dragon and Smoker; they're shouting stopped when the doors opened, and the sight of the prince's came to them.

"Father" [y/n] smiled warmly as she jogged over towards Smoker letting go of Luffy's hand as she did that.

"Hey kiddo" Smoker patted her head as she stood beside them letting Luffy stand in front of his father while his brother's stood behind Luffy looking anywhere else but Dragon right now.

"Are you through being childish?" Dragon asked with a harsh tone with a raised eyebrow.

"I came to announce that I found myself a wife" Luffy said with his hands on his hips with a bright smile on his face.

Ace couldn't help but smack his face while Sabo chuckled nervously at how bluntly Luffy announced this to Dragon.

"Have you?" Dragon raised a brow wondering what kind of game he was playing with him.

But Luff walked over to [y/n] taking her hand in his and dragging her over to stand in front of Dragon, this made her nervous as she bowed to Dragon not knowing what to do as he stared them both down.

"[Y/n] you want to explain something to me?" Smoker asked as he raised a brow at her wondering if she was keeping something from him.

"We-I" [Y/n] tried to find the words to explain that they just met today and had no idea Luffy was thinking this not that she wouldn't mind but she knew rules were rules.

"Ace take your brother to his room and watch him, [y/n] I'm sorry but this cannot happen" Dragon pinched the bridge of his nose knowing this match couldn't happen.

Ace sighed as he grabbed Luffy who started shouting at his father saying he wanted to marry [y/n] and not this princess that was picked for him; but Dragon ignored his son's screams until he was out of the throne room leaving everyone there.

"I understand my king" [y/n] bowed again with a sad look but knew this was the rule.

She stood up again turning away as she allowed Sabo to guide her out of the throne room and out of the castle, making sure she got back home.

"For what it's worth, I would have loved to have you as a sister-in-law" Sabo said once they were at her home giving some warmth to her.

"Thank you, Sabo you and Ace would have been fun brothers-in-law" [y/n] said with a warm smile giving him a hug before heading into her house closing the door behind her to live her life like it was before seeing Luffy.

It was late in the night as [y/n] tried to sleep but couldn't as she tossed and turned in her bed, as she closed her eyes but heard something hit against her window for a moment; thinking it was nothing she tried closing her eyes again only to hear it again. Sighing she got up and walked over to the window, opening it she didn't think she would see Luffy there smiling at her brightly.

"What are you doing here?" she whispered yelled not wanting her father to hear her.

"Gather somethings, we're leaving tonight" Luffy said knowing they were on a time limit.

"What?" she said not knowing what was going on. 

But she sighed before turning around and grabbing a bag, following her heart and not her brain she started getting the things she needed before tossing it out of the window letting Luffy catch it before she climbed down after leaving a note of goodbye to her father. Landing on her feet, she took Luffy's hand as they started running heading to the harbor to take a boat and leave the kingdom; getting there she could see barely any guards there which was good as they rushed to the boat that was waiting for them.

"Thanks again you two" Luffy called out when the sigh of Ace and Sabo came to their eyes.

"You owe us big time" Ace said as he began to untie the rope while Luffy and [y/n] got inside of the boat with plenty of supplies.

"And send an invite for the wedding" Sabo smile knowing he wanted to be there for his little brother even if he was doing something crazy like this.

"No problem!" Luffy said as he and [y/n] waved at them as they sailed away from the kingdom never to look back again.

[Y/n] smiled brightly as she hugged Luffy who picked her up in his arms spinning her as they both sailed away together to have their own happy ending; doing what they loved best together and not having to follow any kind of rules, she knew things would be alright when Luffy gave her a gentle kiss on her lips that she returned gladfully.
