Kid x Reader [Two Years] [1]

[A/N: Slight Mature Contact within chapter, also [B/S] is birth stone to your stone when you were born]

It was a very loud night here on this summer island, more towards the tavern than anything because the Kid pirates were in town and stopped here to restock their ship after taking down six marine ships. So here they were drinking, eating and enjoying the company of the women who worked in the tavern who gave them lots of attention.

Even though they took down lots of marines for some reason Kid wasn't feeling the mood for partying right now, not even bothering with the three women who stayed by his side; one on his left flirting about his metal arm, the other on his right holding his arm tightly against her while the other sat by his feet laying her head on his right thigh giggling. For some reason he just wasn't like his old self and Killer could tell but even he couldn't figure out his old self would have already ate a whole bunch of meat, drink so much rum and already take these three girls to a room but he wasn't doing any of that.

That's when the sound of the door to the tavern opened and closed but nothing that brought Kid out of his thoughts that were just blank while he stared at the people in the room.

"Hey there [Y/N]!" the bartender welcomed with a happy smile.

"Hey" that voice that one voice snapped Kid out of his thoughts in a flash.

he turned his head to his left seeing the woman who walked in here, her hair was [H/L] but still a beautiful [H/C] after the past two years that has came and went in a flash. Her smile was still beautiful which made her [E/C] eyes sparkle, to be honest he had no idea how to walk up to her and say something but would she even want to see him again? That was the question in his mind.

The bartender handed her a bag filled with food which she smiled gratefully to his kindness, with him saying no need to pay with money like always the only payment was to bring over as he put it little treasure which made her blush and smile at that which made Kid wonder what the bartender meant like that? Did she have a boyfriend? Husband? He had no idea since they never stayed in contact with each other but he wanted to know.

Seeing [Y/N] saying her goodbyes surprisingly not seeing him since he stuck out like a sore thumb for sure, Kid stood up ignoring the whines from the three women around him as he started walking away and leaving the tavern.

Looking to his left he saw her walking down the streets humming a small tune as she enjoyed the calm night, he followed behind her just watching everything about her burning it into his mind. [Y/N] soon took a left into an alleyway still humming but what caught his eyes was the small silver bracelet with the single [B/S] on it; he couldn't believe that she still wore it after these two years of not seeing each other. Stopping at the entrance to the alleyway he finally found his voice to call out to her.

"[Y/N]?" he said her name which made her stop in her tracks.

Seeing her spin around meeting her [E/C] eyes with his amber eyes finally, her eyes widened in shock seeing him standing there in front of her.

"Kid?" she spoke his name in surprise but it still sounded like heaven to his ears.

"When di-" she began but was stopped when she was suddenly pulled towards him by her bracelet.

Wrapping his metal arm around her gently enough not to hurt her before meeting her lips with his in a fiery kiss, [Y/N] might have been shocked for a moment but soon kissed him back wrapping her around him while he slipped his tongue inside her mouth as his flesh hand held the back of her head feeling her soft [H/C] hair once more. 

She softly moaned by his touch missing it so much after two years, she didn't want this moment to end but the burning in her lungs were calling out for air; Kid could sense this and pulled away from her letting them both breath while he still held her close to him not wanting to let go.

"I've missed you" she said in a whisper.

"I've missed you too" he said to her grazing his lips against hers again.

Being in Kid's arms once again felt warm and safe like everything was going to be alright now, since everything seem to just go down hill when he left.

Kid felt her hand touch his metal arm where it attached to the skin, which made him look at her seeing her staring at it with a warm smile on her face.

"What?" he said with a confused look.

"Nothing, it just reminds me when I first met you" she said to him with a smirk.

He couldn't help but laugh and smile at that answer since the days they spent together were interesting as hell when they first met, she could have left him and his crew but she was there to help them.

"Hey Kid!" Killer's voice came out which made Kid growl in announce which made [Y/N] giggle.

"I'll come by the ship tomorrow" [Y/N] said to him when she gave him a kiss on the lips which he returned fast and strongly.

When Killer turned to the alleyway he found Kid leaning again the wall behind him with his arms crossed seeing him looking down the other way.

"Kid, you good?" Killer asked when he just saw him standing there.

"Yeah, I'm fine" was his answer when he pushed himself off the wall and started walking away from Killer heading back to the ship not bothering to tell anyone.
