Luffy x Reader [Requested] [4]

[A/N: Big thank to JavierEscuellaslover and milkytreehouse for the helpful comments on the this story it really help I looked up both characters they suggested and the bad guy is indeed Hordy I also looked up Arlong he showed up when Nami was first recruited, but BIG thanks to them both for helping it really helped, thank you both so much]

I suddenly woke up again letting the bright light blind me as the clear sounds of battle rang in my ears when I slowly sat up feeling my head was pounding less now than it was a few minutes ago.

"Oh good your awake" the voice of Chopper came to me when he stood by me on the deck of the ship.

"Where's Luffy?" I asked looking around seeing if I could find him.

"He went off to fight Hordy and he got dragged out into the water!" Chopper panicked when I asked where Luffy was which made my eyes open wide when hearing this.

Standing up in a hurry I rushed off towards where Luffy and Hordy were fighting, ignoring the others around me; I rushed over to where Luffy was wanting to help him since being in the ocean water wasn't something that should never happen for fruit users even if he used one of the bubble protectors it still felt like you were touching the ocean water. 

Seeing them both fighting strongly, they were both covered in cuts and bruises; Luffy was getting tired as his protection was starting to break which made him weaker by the minute, feeling fear in my heart seeing Luffy being hurt like this made me afraid.

Placing my hands out in front of me I closed my eyes tightly letting me take control of my powers; summoning one of my most powerful moves I could create a protection circle around someone to keep them safe for a few minutes. Covering Luffy with the protection circle I created he looked behind him noticing me standing close to the boarded of the island facing the open ocean.

"[Y/N] you good?" he shouted out to me with worry.

"I will be if you can beat him in thirty minutes!!" I shouted back since that's how long I could hold this power any longer and it can harm me.

"No problem" he said as he faced Hordy again ready to keep fighting him in the open waters.

Watching them fight each other was pretty impressive since it was an all out fight; I had to keep concentrating on using my powers as the fight was happening behind me, luckily Zoro and Sanji where behind me keeping the others at bay since I wasn't paying attention to the fight behind me and watching the fight in front of me.

I started feeling the effects of the power with each passing minute as my breathing became heavier and heavier; my body was slowly starting to feel heavy as well as I started to shake from trying to keep my mind on Luffy, feeling blood dripping from my nose was another thing I just growled in frustration.

Unknown to me Hordy seem to noticed where Luffy was getting his help to be in the ocean waters and seeing how my state was now he suddenly charged towards me pass Luffy who saw where he was aiming his weapon.

"[Y/N]!!" Luffy shouted which brought my attention to to what was happening.

My eyes widened when I could see Hordy inches away from me in a flash with his weapon close to coming in contact with my head, with all of my strength I had left. I bent backward dodging just in time with the weapon giving me a scratch across my head when I fell to the ground.

Luffy came out of nowhere using all of his powers and hitting Hordy with his full strength finally taking him out once and for all making the battle come to an end for all of us.

"[Y/N], hey you okay?" Luffy asked when he rushed over to me kneeling down beside me helping sit up.

"Yeah, I just seem to be cutting it close today" I said knowing I could finally relax now that the real battle was over.

"We'll call you the luck charm for the crew" Luffy smiled brightly at me which made me smile warmly at him.

He gently picked me up in his arms letting my head lay on his shoulder, I blushed a little bit as he carried me towards the Sunny to get patched up with others who helped in the battle as the fishman guards of the royal family took care of the people who tried to take command of the island.

We got onto the deck seeing the whole crew there, seeing them see us made them all smile brightly at us.

"Whose the mystery girl, Luffy?" Nami asked when she noticed me.

"This is [Y/N] she's our new crew member" his smile became bigger as he announced me joining their crew which made me smile and blush when everyone liked the idea and welcomed me into the crew as Chopper helped patch me up.
