Luffy X Reader [Old Friends]

The only things she saw was darkness, her eyes closed as she floated on a piece of wood from a ship that was blood up by a group of pirates about an hour ago. [Y/N] felt cold as she tried keeping her mind going by thinking about old memories or anything that could keep it going hoping that there were someone to sail by and find her being the only survivor, but waiting for so long she began to think that it was hopeless as the sun was finally setting on the ocean giving it a warm orange and yellow color that at least warmed her face a small bit as her [E/C] eyes slowly opened to look at the scene before her 'At least I can see something pretty before I go' [Y/N] said in her mind as she stared as long as she wanted at the sun until her mind went finally blank.

"Ssshhh, your going to wake her up!" a small voice spoke to other voices in the room, nothing but darkness was around her as she listened to the voices in the room thinking that she in heaven and hearing voices but that wasn't the case until her eyes slowly opened being blinded for a moment by the light in the room, seeing blurred figures around the room. "Oh, she's waking up" another voice said seeing that she was trying to open her eyes, soon her [E/C] eye's saw thing clearly now seeing several people around in the room looking at her. "Glad your awake we were starting to get worried" the little voice said again having her turn her head to see a little reindeer with a pink hat on along with a warm smile. "W-where" [Y/N] tried speaking but her voice came out groggy as she spoke. "Your on the Sunny, its our ship my name is Tony Tony Chopper the doctor of the ship also this is Nami and Usopp they helped me bring you in here" Chopper spoke to her as a woman with long Orange hair handed her some water to help her throat that she gladly drank. "We almost thought we were to late when we saw you floating" the man named Usopp said as [Y/N] slowly sat up in bed. Suddenly the door busted opened making everyone jump from the voice that came with it. "WELL SHE UP!!!?" the voice of Luffy screamed into the room since he heard more talking inside the room, he got a smack on the head by Nami for being to loud and almost breaking everyone's hearing from his screams.

[Y/N] was a little frozen in place seeing the young man, with that same short black hair, the scar under his left cheek not to mention knowing that very same straw hat he was wearing, the only thing knew was the scar on his chest that was an X. [Y/N] couldn't help the smile once she knew who he was. "Luffy is that you?" she asked with that smile still growing as she caught Luffy's attention with her voice. She got her answer with a very big bear hug from him that kind of cut off her air for a moment. "I knew you would remember me!" Luffy said with that big grin and laughed once he let his grip loosen a bit letting her breath again. "You really haven't changed" she said again giving off a giggle of her own that joined Luffy's laughing. "I didn't know you guys knew each other" Usopp said to them as he, Nami and Chopper were a little confused as they watched the two talk. "Oh, we grew up together" Luffy said still with that big silly grin on his face as he looked at the others. "Oh, I almost forgot diner is also ready let's go eat some meat!" Luffy spoke again not giving [Y/N] a chance to say something before he pulled her out of bed and out on the deck of the sunny to the kitchen where the rest were ready to eat. "Guys look she's up!" Luffy said as they entered the room still smiling like a fool.

"You sure she should be standing?" a guy with green hair and three swords said to Luffy with a hint of worry in his voice as he looked at them both. "I finally agree with moss-head, what if the poor thing passes out with you dragging her around like a doll!" another man with blonde hair said a little bit to worried over [Y/N] once he set his eyes on her, Luffy just smile and laughed a little bit before answering them. "[Y/N] used to it I always dragged her around when we were kids" Luffy said when he and [Y/N] both sat at the table as the other's did as well, the people around her were very interesting as she put it as Luffy talked and talked before stuffing his face with meat. Chopper sat onto her left seeing how nervous she was getting with the others. "The one with the three swords is Zoro and then you have Sanji our cook, that's Franky, Robin and Brook" Chopper pointed to each one for her to know which names went with who around the table. "Nice to meet all of you" she said with a small smile on her face. "And its a pleasure to meet you as well, by any chance could you show me y-" "Stop asking people that every time!" Brook was cut off by Nami hitting him on head hard, [Y/n] smiled and giggled a little bit as the way they all acted around each other. "Well you sure have an interesting crew Luffy" she said before taking a bite out of her food that was in front of her. "I know aren't they awesome!?" Luffy said back with a mouth filled with meat that made [Y/N] chuckle again remembering the old times she has seen him do that over the years. Then Luffy made this face like a light just popped into his mind for the first time.

"Do you want to join my crew?!" Luffy asked her once he swallowed the meat in his mouth before asking the question, it took her back for a moment surprised a little at the question, since she really didn't feel like leaving Luffy again to go back to the life she had on the old island she used to live at. A smile made its way onto her face loving the idea of fun and adventure with Luffy and his friends would be amazing so she couldn't help the answer come out of her mouth. "I would love to be apart of your crew" She said with full excitement that matched Luffy's smile that grew bigger and bigger. "YES!!" Luffy raised his hands in the air making the other's smile knowing she was staying here with them, Luffy could help but hug her again as she hugged him back fully prepared about the hug but wasn't prepared for the small kiss that came from Luffy that was on her cheek making her blush as red as his shirt when he smiled again. Luffy chuckled at her face as he continued eating the meat as she was still trying to figure out what just happened until she looked at him still blushing. "Your a big goof" she finally said with a smile on her face. "I know" Luffy smiled and laugh again having the rest join in with the laughing enjoying the night of diner.
