Vampire Law x Reader [A Vampire's Kiss] [5]

[Y/n]'s entire body throb from pain from physically and mentally after what she had witnessed this night, she could still see the bodies of her parents lying on the ground. Their blood splattered everywhere on the ground; the echoes of Doflomingo's laugh still rang in her ears.

She woke up in a cold sweat as she tried to get her breathing to calm as best as she could. Hoping it was a nightmare she glanced around the room wishing be back in her room, but sadly she was not and in a room that wasn't her own. Lifting the blanket off of her she saw her ankle was wrapped up in some bandages, it tingled a bit as she touched it.

"You'll be able to walk in a couple of days" she heard a voice speak in the darkness of the room that was only lit by candle light.

Looking to her left she saw the tall figure of Law sitting in a chair reading a book next to the warm fire that was inside the room. Feeling fear creep into her she couldn't help but crawl a bit back in the bed until she hit the headboard of the bed.

Law slowly closed the book as he marked his spot before sighing sadly as he stood up from his chair. Putting his hands in his pockets he walked closer to the fire place, [Y/N] could clearly see his face now from the light; he had a disappointed look on his face as he as a couple of fresh scars on his cheek and bottom lip.

"What are you?" she whispered out mostly to herself but with Law's hearing he could hear her soft whisper. Hearing a bit of fear in her voice as she asked.

"I-I wanted to tell you but....." Law tried to begin but the words were lost in his throat as he still stared at the fire.

[Y/N] wanted to asked so many questions but none came to her lips to speak them. Her mind was still filled with the nights nightmare; looking up slightly she jumped again when she saw Law was in front of her.

"I would never hurt you [Y/N], I love more than life believe me....." Law spoke looking straight into her [E/C] eyes as she looked into his grey eye.

"I-I, I just don't understand what is happening" she softly spoke as she looked down at her feet trying to wrap her head around this.

She felt Law's cold hands hold her cheeks in them. Making her look back up at Law as he placed his forehead against her, his voice and scent calmed her slowly as he held her. Even with the thoughts of that nightmare still playing slightly in her mind her heart still told her to trust Law; feeling safe in his arms was enough to be proof of that.

"I have crossed, oceans of time to find you" Law whispered as he ran his thumb over her soft skin.

"Law...." she whispered out his name softly.

Law couldn't help himself when he pulled her in closer crashing his lips against hers in a hungry kiss. A bit taken back for a moment, she soon matched the rhythm of the kiss; returning the same hungry kiss as she held onto his shoulders.
