Kid Returns from Wano [timeline might be off I have no idea]

How long had it been already? A Month? A year? Hell, [y/n] didn't know anymore; because all she could do was wait, wait for the man she treasured and loved then life itself. One of the things she had was the necklace he crafted for her hanging around her neck; a single ruby gem held by metal; it was her only way of knowing he was alive. Sometimes it would slightly move not much but it was enough to calm her down as she wondered about him, the last time she saw him was when an emperor showed up out of nowhere on their island; it was frightening as she hid in the castle's dungeon with their four-year-old son [S/N] who was shivering and crying for the fighting to stop.

Once the chaos died down, she needed to know what happened; leaving her son with her best friend [y/n] rushed up the stairs and out of the castle only to be horrified at the sight of the crew of the Kid pirates beaten; some of the men injured or dead as the large monster of an emperor stood without a scratch, her heart throbbed hard against her chest, she could barely breath as her eye landed on Kid bleeding, bruised and with his metal arm broken into pieces, Killer, Wire and Heat didn't look that well either as they too laid on the ground out cold. Her feet carried her on her own as her eye blurred by building tears but never leaving the sight of Kid.

"KID!!" she shouted gathering the attention of the emperor and those who betrayed Kid and the others.

[Y/n] was pinned to the ground letting her let out a gasp of pain when being pinned by Drake, her blood boiled knowing the truth that they helped this monster in order to live and save their own skins; she struggled to get out of his grip but only gritting her teeth once more when he almost broken her right arm.

"L-let her...g-go" the growl of Kid's voice made her look up seeing him struggling to stand up but fought through the pain as he stood up on weak legs that threatened to lose their strength any second now; he breathed heavily fighting through the pain, but his eyes burned with rage as he looked at Drake ready to die for [y/n] to give her a running start back to the castle.

"Let her go, she can do nothing" the booming voice of the emperor spoke in a lazy tone, knowing it would be foolish of her to try and fight them all.

Drake did as he was told and let her go, allowing [y/n] to stand up as Kid landed back on his knees ready to fall back down but [y/n] caught him in her arms being covered in blood as she held him, gently placing her hands on his face to make him look at her. Her eyes let the tears go finally feeling her heartbreak inside, Kid lifted his flesh hand up to her cheek meeting her eyes as he fought through the pain in his body staring at her as long as he can to burn the image of her perfect face into his mind.

"It's g-going to be...a-alright, I-I'll be b-back" Kid spoke loud enough for only her to hear him as he placed his forehead against her.
