Kid x Reader [Two Years] [5]

Kid woke up by the sun shining through the drapes in the room; remembering what happened last night and what happened during that fight was brought back to his mind which made him growl to himself mostly. Getting up the pain was still there but not as bad from last night, he sat on the bed for a while thinking about a couple of things until the sound of muffled talking brought him out of his thoughts.

Standing up from the bed and opening up his door he could clearly hear his crew just outside the house which made him confused a bit; walking down the stairs he saw Killer leaning against the wall.

"I see your up" Killer said to Kid not looking over his shoulder to see if it was Kid or not.

"How long until the ship is prepared?" Kid asked still a bit tired from waking up.

"The ship will be repaired in three days" Killer answered as Kid stood by his side.

Kid just growled since he didn't want to stay on land long and just get back to being on the sea even though his pride was kicked down a few levels.

"Ah good your up" the voice of the woman [Y/N] came to his ears making him turn around seeing her.

He said nothing to her as he looked away from her; Killer on the other hand greeted her with a good morning which made Kid give him a look but Killer just ignored it like always.

"I better get everyone back to work, [Y/N] thank you again for breakfast" Killer said as he walked to the door.

"No problem" she smiled gently as Killer walked out of the door to get everyone to work on the ship.

[Y/N] glanced over at Kid who was still not looking at her with the serious face of wanting to hit something if not kill but she didn't let that bother her.

"Come on, I need to look at your injuries" she said taking hid only hand in hers bringing him to the exam room to check on how he was healing.

He said nothing as he just glanced around the room as she undid the bandages on his arm and face to check on his he was healing; he felt weird having someone take care of him in this was; [Y/N] glanced at him from time to time seeing how his face stayed the same but she could tell he didn't like how all of this turned out for him and his crew.

"Not the type that takes losing well?" [Y/N] poked out the question already knowing the answer to this.

Kid just glared at her but she didn't flinch only chuckled at his answer with a glare; he couldn't figure her out still. One time she can be harsh and demanding and the other time she can be gentle and kind but he couldn't understand if she was both or if she was being someone else like hiding behind a mask.

"You stitches are doing good for your arm,  you'll have scars that'll be easy to see but I guess you don't care about that" she explained as she wrapped up his arm once again but leave his face and side alone since those were two of the places where the scars are.

"Your right I don't care..." he finally answered her after being silent.

"So you do talk" she joked with a smirk on her face.

"Watch it woman" he growled deeply glaring at her again.

"Yeah, yeah or I'm dead but trust me you don't scare me captain Kid" she said being not bothered by Kid's tone of voice as she threw away the old bandages and putting away the box on the shelf.

Kid just watched her as she put things away; she surely was a mystery for all to figure out but he was still tired from the days he was several injured when sailing to this island. 

Glancing back at her seeing her trying to reach for something on the top shelf only made him smirk seeing her struggle trying to reach something; but he stood up from the exam table and surprised her by picking her up with his one arm making her jump and gaps.

"Thanks" [Y/N] whispered as she picked out the box taking out something's before putting the box back on the shelf.

Kid said nothing as he placed her down on the ground again, [Y/N] was blushing a bit from that moment as she put away her supplies where they should go in the room; Kid just turned away from her leaving the room to go look at his ship leaving her in the room to slightly smile to herself with the blush still on her cheeks.
