Iceburg x Reader [p2] [Requested]

There was one word [y/n] could describe her life right now and that to her was perfect. It was a life she loved and will continue to love. She loved living with Iceburg, Franky, Tom and Kokoro they built lots of amazing ships and nothing could change how much happiness. But all that was going to come to an end and no one ever even knew it was going to happen.

It all started when the government started to show up out of nowhere, [y/n] would stay out of sight from them. She already told Iceburg and the others her life story and why she left it; but she'd be damned if she was going to go back there she never wanted to go back there again. Iceburg made sure to go with [y/n] wherever she went, he wasn't going to let her go anytime soon. But it only got worse once the island was suddenly attack by the government by using the ships Franky has built from scratch and that gave the government the right to taken in Tom and the boys along with [y/n] who was smart in wearing some boy clothes to hide herself from the government. 

So here they were handcuffed in the middle of the towns harbor with others surrounding them, [y/n] could see Kokoro in the crowd worried to death for them all. [Y/N] was also afraid, she was placed beside Iceburg while they listened to the lies the government was speaking about; even the towns people were believing their lies about them and [y/n] hated it. This was why she left her so called family in the first place it was nothing but lies and filled with cruelty. [Y/n] slowly glanced around the area wishing someone in the crowd was on their side, but she froze when she noticed one of the marine men was looking at her; she was terrified wishing deep in her heart that he didn't know her. But so far he didn't say anything when he looked away from her but that didn't calm her nerves she know he knew her from the papers scattered across the seas.

But her thoughts were broken when the sounds of Tom punching the man responsible, it shocked everyone with what was happening; everything was happening to fast for [y/n] to concentrate on. Her heart was pounding with the fear about what was just about to happen. Tom was shot with tranquilizers bullets; this was all to much to handle and watch.

The man who looked at [y/n] went over to his boss whispering something in his ear, seeing his eyes widen for a moment before looking over towards her which made her blood run cold knowing this was it for her.

"Well, my luck just got a lot better" he said with a smirk when he looked over at [y/n] who was terrified.

Iceburg looked over at [y/n] seeing how terrified she looked; her whole body was shaking from fear and it made him angry that he couldn't do anything to protect her.

"Wait" the voice of Tom broke everyone's thoughts bringing their attention to him as he stood.

"What is it?" the judge asked when Tom wanted to ask a request; he had a feeling something like this would happen and already had an idea to protect the boys and [y/n].

"Since building the train was going to be my pardon; I wish to use it for this crime today pardoning the boys and the girl from it. Which means she isn't going to be touch by the government even if her family is one of those dragons" Tom asked his request; knowing that if he used that he could protect them all from this madness.

"Very well, we will pardon the young men and woman but even if that is cleared you will be held for the crime for building King Rogers ship" the judge spoke clearing [y/n] and the boys from this crime and insuring that she will be kept her away from her family. 

Tom agreed to this agreement even if the evil man was trying to get a word in that this rule shouldn't work for the young lady whose family would pay billions for her return no matter who it was. But the judge said nothing to him and ignored him when the bullets effected Tom which lead to him passing out from the bullets.

The marines unlocked Franky's, Iceburg's and [y/n]'s cuffs; [y/n] backed away from the marines afraid of them that they would take her. She went over to Iceburg who wrapped his arms around her; feeling her shake in his arms while they stood by Kokoro. They weren't happy with the out come of what will happen to Tom, but they had to stand there and watch these men take Tom away from them forever. [Y/N] couldn't stop the silent tears from falling she was losing the only true father she had; Tom was able to show her what having a father felt like and now she was never going to see him again.

But Franky wasn't going to stand there and take it; in a flash Franky charge towards the man who was  responsible and hit him hard across the face with the end of a gun. This was getting out of hand now as Franky tried to fight them off to make them not take Tom away; but Franky was out matched when he was getting beaten up.

"Franky you got to get out of here!" Iceburg said to him when he had the chance to run, Franky had to choice but to listen and run away while the marines were trying to shoot him.

Kokoro, Iceburg and [Y/n] got the chance to leave the area, to not get in the cross fire of the chaos that has happened today. [Y/N] couldn't stop the tears, everything was crumbling around them; the once perfect family and life she thought she had was burning into ashes in front of her. It only gotten worse when the news of someone being hit by the sea train reached their ears; the only person that it could have been was Franky.

"W-why?" she couldn't help but asked as she looked to the ground.

"Why did this happen? Why couldn't we be left alone?" she asked again as Kokoro and Iceburg looked ta her.

Iceburg wrapped his arms around her letting her cry in his arms; he didn't like seeing her so broken and hurt. That's when he made a promise to make sure that no one every hurts her again; he will always protect her no matter what happened even if he had to give up his own life for hers. But there was no words to settle her down, he could only hold her shivering body against his trying to let her know that he will always be by her side no matter what.
