Luffy x Reader [Requested] [5]

With the moon high above and the stars out, it was the perfect moment to have their small little party until things cooled down from the town; of course the boys broke into the boozes and Sanji started cooking the food as Brook did some songs for the two crews here tonight.

[Y/N] was laughing and smiling as she and Luffy danced to the music Brook was playing loudly, Usopp, Franky and Chopper spoke with Penguin, Sachi and Bepo while Nami and Robin spoke to Law with Chopper coming in a few minutes later.

Even though things in town went a little south there was no room for gloom and doom over it when it came to Luffy and [Y/N]; both of them were nothing but fun and joy so it rubbed off on people when they were around and it was a good change of speed right now as everyone drank to their heart desire and ate as much meat as they wanted which was mostly what Luffy and [Y/N] did when they weren't around anyone to talk to; [Y/N] got to know some of the Heart Pirate crew which was super cool and she liked Bepo a lot which made her give him the nickname teddy.

As the night went on the party calmed down with calm talks and story around the campfire; [Y/N] was watching the stars on a rock a little ways from the group smiling softly to herself when she thought of the few days that she has been with the Straw Hats.

"You doing okay?" Luffy's voice came to her ears brining her attention to him when he sat down beside her.

"I'm fine, just watching the stars"  she said with her warm smile as she returned her gaze to the sky.

Luffy looked up at the stars too making it a silent comfort for the both of them as they looked up at the stars; until [Y/N] broke the silence with something she was thinking about.

"Luffy?" she asked first still looking at the stars.

"What?" he asked giving her attention now.

"I promise that I will be the best crew member like the others and I also promise that no matter how long it takes I'll make sure that you become king of the pirates" [Y/N] said gently as she stared at the stars until she looked up and Luffy making a deep promise to help him make his dream come true.

Luffy paused for a while looking at her seeing her [E/C] eyes burning with a flame that held that promise; he could only smile warmly at her before he took off his hat and placed it on her head making her blush.

"We'll do it together" Luffy said smiling warmly as she looked at him from the edge of the hat with her blush still there, but she smiled brightly like he did. Unknown to them a falling star shot across the sky above them as they made the promise to each other.

- 20 years later -

It was hard to believe that twenty years passed since [Y/N] joined the Straw Hats and a lot has changed; the dream of Luffy becoming the king of the pirates came true after hard work and friendship, being thirty now she couldn't help but laugh to herself as she looked through old pictures of the crew that she collected through out the years. It warmed her heart remembering everyone.

The sounds of feet on the wooden floor brought her attention away from the book making her chuckle as she saw someone running around with a blanket with two eye holes to see over their head looking like a ghost as they ran around the room.

"And what are you doing young man" she asked smiling warmly as she put the book down on the coffee table in front of her.

"I'm a ghost, boo!" the young boy said jumping in front of her making her giggle at him.

Soon the sound of the door opening brought their attention to the door making the young boy bring the blanket off of his head showing his short black hair and big [E/C] eyes smiling brightly knowing who would be opening the door.

"Dad is home!" the boy shouted as he rushed to the front door.

[Y/N] stood up smiling as she followed the hall to the front door having her heart warm at the sight seeing Luffy standing in the doorway; his black hair a bit long as he started growing a beard not a big one just a nice one.

"Hey there, [S/N] did you behave while I was gone?" Luffy asked his voice being a bit deeper than what it used to be as he smiled brightly like always.

"Me and mom played pirates and looked for buried treasure on the beach" [S/N] said smiling brightly just like his father was right now.

"Sounds like an awesome adventure" Luffy said placing the [S/N] on the ground again.

"I'll go get the box we found" [S/N] said turning around and running back into the house passing [Y/N] to get the box.

She couldn't' help but chuckle at how much energy he has; feeling an arm wrap around her brining her close made her smile warmly as she leaned into Luffy's touch since he was gone for a few month on the sea with the others doing king business.

"I've missed you" [Y/N] said looking up at Luffy with her smile.

"I've missed you too" Luffy said to her giving her a peck on her forehead making her blush still.

"Mom, Dad I found the box!" their son's voice shouted down the hall making the both chuckle.

Luffy took [Y/N]'s hand in his guiding her down the hall of their house until they came to the living room seeing their son opening the box smiling always as they sat on the sofa watching [S/N] bring out object from the box showing Luffy what was found on the beach.

[Y/N] smiled and watched them both knowing how lucky she was being here and now with them both; all of this happened with hard work and friendship and maybe with a little promise she told him so long ago which only made her chuckle softly remembering that promise they both made to each other on that beach watching the stars.
