Ace X Reader [Pops Daughter]

It was just another day on the Moby-Dick, the sea calm and smooth, wind just right to sail to the next island. Nothing was out of the ordinary out in these waters, and everyone on the crew couldn't agree more as some crew members did their chores while some relaxed and took turns doing chores. And Ace was one of those people who were lying on the deck with his hate covering his face from the sun as he took a nap for the day, Marco and Thatch were talking not to far from him as they leaned again the ship railing.

"Ship towards the starboard!!" one of the crew member's yelled from crows nest catching everyone attention. "So much for a day off" Ace said as i placed his hat on his head before standing on his feet joining Marco and Thatch on the railing seeing the ship coming towards them, the flag was a skull with a shield and sword cross behind it one that Ace has never seen before. "Looks like the princess is visiting us" Thatch said with a smirk as Marco nodded his head in agreement smiling himself. Ace was confused as he looked at the two and wondered why this wasn't a big deal, the ship sailed up next to the Moby-Dick it was just as big as the ship. Some of the crew whistled and waved having Ace notice that the whole ship was filled with women, they also waved at some of the crew as the ship docked by the Moby-Dick. "Well, its about time you return home young lady" Whitebeard said now that he came onto the deck to see what was going on out here. "Sorry pops, there were to many marines to sail by without getting into a fight had to take the long way to get here" a female voice spoke out from the other ship catching Ace's attention, he looked up seeing a young lady around his age with [E/C] eyes and {H/L] [H/C] hair that blew in the breeze from time to time, the young lady jumped off of her ship and landed on the Moby-Dick standing in front of pops with a smile.

"As long as you in good health than that's fine with me" Whitebeard spoke to the girl again ruffling her hair making her laugh with him, she gave him a big hug as he returned it. Ace was one still at a lose and two was in a daze seeing her. He had to admit that she was pretty beautiful, his thoughts were cut when Marco nudged Ace a little bit making him look at him. "That [Y/N], she's pops's daughter and I mean real daughter she also used to be the second commander before she set sail to make her own crew called the Valkyries" Marco said to Ace explaining the short story for him to understand, Ace nodded his head in understanding as he looked back at [Y/N]. "Been a long time Marco, Thatch" [Y/N] said when she turned her gaze to the boys still by the railing with smiles. "That it has been little princess" Thatch said with a smile as she came up and hugged Marco and Thatch as they returned them. [Y/N] turned her attention towards Ace waiting for him to say something. "Oh, my name is Ace" Ace finally said to her coming out of another daze he was in, trying to hide the small blush that crept onto his cheeks. she smiled and giggle a little bit seeing the blush on his face. "Nice to meet you I've heard a lot about you from pops and the others" [Y/N] said to him still smiling at him making the blush on Ace's cheek a little worse. "We'll have a feast tonight for your return home" Whitebeard said making sure everyone heard him for both ships, having every cheer in agreement for the big feast for the night.

The feast was big like Whitebeard said it would be, everyone from each ship with enjoying themselves with drinks and food, [Y/N] spent her time talking to her father along with some of the commanders as well laughing at their jokes and telling old stories and new stories too. Ace was leaning against the railing with a drink in his hand as he stared almost all night at [Y/N], her bright [E/C] eyes always shining with soft lights they had lit up around the ship, seeing how they would shine with the talk about her adventure across the sea, how her [H/C] hair with move with her when she acted out a move she used in old battles. Something about her drew him towards her almost like he knew that they belonged with each other but he didn't have the guts right now to talk to her. "Stare any longer and you'll burn holes in her head" the voice of Marco snapped him out of his thoughts seeing him standing next to him with a small smirk on his face as he looked at Ace. "I wasn't staring at her" Ace mumbled when he took a gulp of his drink trying act calm, but Marco knew better. "Sure, sure you weren't but i wouldn't blame you [Y/N] is very pretty" Marco said as he smiled a little getting under Ace's skin a little bit, Ace only hummed in agreement as he took another drink, soon enough [Y/N] was walking towards them both with a small smile having Marco pat Ace on the shoulder before walking away so they could be only for a while.

"I heard you gave my old man a hard time before joining" [Y/N] said trying to hold back her laugh but couldn't hold back her smile as she leaned against the railing beside Ace. "Yep, kind of a hot head back then" Ace said as he smirked at the memories when he first came onto the ship. "I hear your still a hot head" she said as she giggled a little bit having him chuckle himself knowing this was true. "Maybe your right, how long are you staying?" Ace asked her as he looked towards her since she was to his left next to the railing. "Maybe a week" she shrugged not really knowing the real answer to that question. "Maybe we could hang out when get to the next island" Ace said to her hoping she would say yes and also hope she didn't hear the hope in his voice as well. "You asking me out on a date?" [Y/N] asked as she looked up at him with her bright smile. "If I were and I'm saying i'm not what would you say?" Ace asked as his smile grew himself as he kept looking at her. "I would say....maybe" she said pausing in the middle to think for a moment before answering and giggling a little bit. "Maybe? what kind of an answer is maybe?" Ace asked as he chuckled hearing the playful tone in her voice when they were talking. "Maybe is maybe" [Y/N] said again laughing a little bit seeing him smile at her through this conversation. "then maybe I'll treat you to lunch on the next island" Ace said to her getting his playful tone out himself as he talked to her. "Sounds good to me, second commander" she smiled and winked at him as she took a sip of her drink. "I'll see you then" Ace said to her as he chuckled a little bit, making her giggle as well. [Y/N] surprised Ace a little bit by giving him a small kiss on the cheek making his cheeks burn up from the blush on his face that now formed there making her giggle again. "Its a date" she said as she leaned again Ace a little bit making him smile and chuckle as he wrapped an arm around her as they enjoyed the party for tonight.
