Fukaboshi x Reader [Requested]

Everyone knew the legend of Fishman island, it was always a place of wonder and beauty for those who wished to see it for themselves with their own eyes. But for those who lived among the fishmen and women of the island called it home. That was [y/n] who grew up among the people of Fishman island; she was part human and mermaid but she didn't grow a tail like the other mermaids but they loved her. She could breathe under water which was very helpful for wanting to play with her other friends in the ocean. But there was one person who was her best friend for life and that was the eldest son of the king, Fukaboshi. 

They were childhood friends from day one and haven't been separated since then, wherever he went she went with him. Going on their own adventures through the kingdom as they grew up into their teenage years. That's when their lives were changed forever; during one of the speeches from her queen things took a turn for the worst, in the blink of an eye the queen was suddenly shot out of nowhere. The people were in chaos during the whole thing watching the queen being shot in front of them. [Y/N] didn't get untouched during this chaos, she was suddenly attacked by unknown man which only left her with a scratch on her left cheek.

Once the chaos had ended, [Y/N]'s mother pleaded to the king; asking to leave the island to take her daughter somewhere safer. The king had no choice but to agree to this, Fukaboshi wasn't happy about this outcome nor was [y/n] at all. Knowing they were going to be away from each other for who knows how long left a hole in both their hearts. The worst part was, she left so suddenly that they didn't get a chance to say their goodbyes to one another; all they had between them was now a miles worth of ocean and a broken sea crystal for them to remember each other.

Years have past since that fateful day and Fukaboshi could never forget about his best friend, many thoughts ran through his mind. Was she happy? Was she alive? Did she find someone else to love? All those thoughts ran through his mind 24/7 and there was no stopping those thoughts. 

But thing's happened within Fishman island, suddenly being attacked by a once known friend within the island. And for pirates to come and save the island from this evil; it was something filled with dark secrets and truths that could finally come to light at last. The Straw Hats were very strong indeed and good friends for saving the people of fishman island; they couldn't be more grateful to the crew and their captain Luffy. But one of the crew members was the last person Fukaboshi thought he would ever see again after so many years.

Once the battle had ended and the fight was won for Fishman Island, the sight of a young woman caught the prince's attention. Her [H/L] [H/C] hair framed her face perfectly, her big [E/C] eyes sparkled in the light but what caught his attention was the small faint scar on her left cheek he knew it was her after all of these years.

"[Y/N]?" he called out to her, catching the young woman's attention seeing her eyes widen in surprise once they're eyes met.

"Fukaboshi?" she called back still a bit surprised but the warm smile broke out on her face once she knew it was him.
