Kid x Reader [3] [Two Years]

It was a nice calm night on the sea for the Kid pirates, everyone were just doing there own thing some were on watch duty while others just went to their quarters to get some sleep. Kid just finished up building something in his workshop on the ship, heading back to his room to get some sleep but he couldn't help the smile come to his face when he heard [Y/N] humming in the room.

Opening the door to his room, he leaned against the doorframe crossing his arms with that smile on his face; seeing his woman humming a soft tune as she held [D/N] their daughter in her arms; seeing her sleeping face with her bright red hair in her face just warmed his heart to no end. He gently closed the door as [Y/N] placed [D/N] down in her small bed that Killer and the others made for her, wrapping his flesh arm around [Y/N]'s waist made her smile as she leaned against his chest as they both looked down at their sleeping daughter.

[Y/N] yawned a bit after the long day which made Kid smirk when he picked her up which made her jump a bit but giggle when he placed her on the large bed in the room before tossing his fur coat off, kicking his boots off and laying next to her giving her a kiss on her forehead.

"I love you" Kid whispered to her.

"Love you too" [Y/N] said with a small smile before closing her eyes coming to sleep fast.

But Kid was still awake as he looked at her sleeping face so peaceful and beautiful; he honestly didn't know how he got this lucky with a woman like her because truth be told their first in counter wasn't the most glamorous at all which only made him smirk from remembering the first time he met her two years ago. 

-Flashback Starts-

It was just another ordinary sunny day on the island where [Y/N] was originally from; she was just walking back to her home passing the docks since she lived near the harbor that's when the sight of the Kid pirates ship caught her eyes. It was torn almost to smithereens from what she could see as she walked closer to the ship almost in surprise. The sound of the crew brought her closer seeing the all mighty Killer on the docks commanding who did what to make the ship good as news and to bring someone who could help their captain, this caught her attention which made her walk up to the tall blonde man clearing her throat.

'Who the hell are you?" Killer asked crossing his arms together covered in bandages.

"I'm [Y/N] I'm actually the doctor of the village here, my house isn't far I can take a look at your injured" she spoke not scared that she was facing deadly pirates who take no prisoners at all.

Killer eyed her for any sign of lies but her [E/C] eye's held none and for some reason he could trust her with this task.

"Follow me, our captain took the worst of it" he said before walking away with her following him.

passing the many men on board who eyed her with suspicious eyes; but that didn't bother her as she followed Killer to the captain's room. the sure smell of blood came to her nose strongly even with the door closed but the sight she was met with made her eyes widen.

The famous captain Kid was lying on his blood stain sheets, breathing heavily with his bandages covering his left face to his missing left arm; the blood still flowed strongly through the once white bandages. He had the look of two emotions pain and disappointment but [Y/N] would learn of that later.

She began her exam not even worried that he might kill her on the spot as Killer watched her move her small hands around his bandages moving them to get a better look of the injuries seeing the blood was just gushing still but not long enough so this must have happened in the night.

"We need to move him to my house where I can treat him there, no ifs ands or buts about it" [Y/N] sternly spoke to Killer before wrapping the bandages on again.

Killer said nothing as he did what she asked; bring Kid to the small house wasn't far it was like a jog away from their ship; [Y/N] brought them both to her treatment room Killer placed Kid on the table before [Y/N] started cleaning her hands and her tools to start her work.

"Please wait outside until I am done" she asked as she put on her gloves and mask before coming close to Kid.

"Fine" Was all Killer could say before he left the room to let [Y/N] do her work to save Kid's life from his injuries.

At least an hour or two passed before [Y/N] came out of the room seeing Killer leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.

"Well?" Killer asked her.

"It's least take him a week or more to fully heal and I suggest that whoever you guys pissed off; that you stay here" [Y/N] explained as she threw away her mask and gloves.

"Not like we could go anywhere with our ship" Killer said glancing out of the window where the ship was in sight.

"True, your captain shall stay here until he wakes up again you may stay if you wish but trust me your captain is in good hands" [Y/N] explained as she sat on the sofa in the room.

"Any reason why your helping us pirates?" he asked raising a brow that she couldn't see.

"My brother was a pirate so naturally I took care of him; besides I give people my trust and respect until they give me a reason not to anymore simple as that" [Y/N] explained shortly with a small shrug with her shoulders.

"Alright.....I'll checked back tonight" Killer said as he pushed himself off the wall and walked to her door opening and closing it to leave her alone with a sleeping Kid in the other room; oh just how her whole life will change the moment he woke up would surprise her even in the future.
