Time just froze for Thatch and [Y/N] as they stared at each other in the crowd of people at the market this morning, the sounds of voices and other sounds also vanished from their ears they could hear each others heartbeat only beating heavily in their own chests.

[Y/N] wished to speak first but was soon found herself wrapped in Thatch's strong arms, taking her by surprise for sure as he held her close to him this was the only action he could think of at this moment since he also didn't know what to say to her right now. Her arms also wrapped around him as well holding him close to her.

"I've missed you...." He whispered to her for only her to hear him.

"I've missed you too" she said back with a warm smile as tears of joy were building up in her eyes.

He looked down at her face with a warm smile on his face as he placed his left hand on her cheek which made her blush a bit, seeing her blush made me chuckle a bit seeing her like that.

"I see your doing good for yourself" he said with that smile still on his face.

"Nothing much, but I guess its better than nothing" she said giving off a small shrug.

He knew this tone of hers very well since he heard it a lot of times, it was the tone that she would use when something was bothering her and he knew what was bothering her; she wasn't with the crew, living a life the was normal without adventure and without her family.

"[Y/N], can I ask you something?" Thatch asked her in a wondering tone.

"What is it?" she asked tilting her head to the side a bit.

"Well, I was wondering and hoping that you would come back to the Whitebeard's?" he asked once he looked at her.

"Thatch I-" she began but he had to add something before she finished.

"I know its a lot to ask but I know the tone in your voice; your not happy being here acting like a normal person with no adventure. Everyone misses you, hell I miss you I couldn't stop thinking about you! I missed you so much that it hurts to know that you were here and I couldn't be by your side. Please, I need you in my life [Y/N] I need you by my side; and damn it I know I can't live without you either" Thatch spoke out wanting her to know how he felt about her.

Her [E/C] eyes widened in surprise hearing these words coming out of his mouth when she thought he wouldn't love her. But she was wrong just my listening to him say these things made her heart jump with joy and her stomach filled with butterflies; she couldn't help herself when she leaned in on her tippy toes to met his lips with her.

He tensed for a moment in surprise feeling her soft lips against his, he quickly kissed her back holding her close to him as he deepened the kiss as his hand ran through her [H/C] hair. She blushed a deeper red once their lips parted and looked at each other with smiles on their faces.
