a/n: sex is implied in this chapter, but I don't write a proper smut scene. If you do feel uncomfortable, feel free to skip the part where I put a '*'. Thank you.

CHAPTER EIGHTY-SIX
'first date, part two'

They say that loving gives you the courage to venture into places without solid expectations. One would never know where their feelings would take them. If the end up being loved in return, it gives you strength and makes life that much more meaningful.

And even though you risk being hurt, one would still put faith by conveying what they truly felt with nothing holding them back.

To be loved and to love someone special is possibly one of the most wonderful things about the one life we have.

In your story with Bakugou Katsuki, it felt as though there was nothing you could hide from each other.

The trust was mutually earned and deserved.

Although it wasn't smooth sailing, you both found yourselves back with each other, always looking forward to the next adventure and to the future.

Katsuro became the catalyst, you wouldn't have it any other way. At the end of the day, you and Katsuki were brought back together by a cringe thing called love.

"He's with Sero," Katsuki said to you, bringing you what looked as though was the door to the roof. "He's safe, taken care of and you don't need to put your mind into anything else."

"Okay. You're making me nervous because you seem nervous..."

"When being myself to do something I want to do, I do it right and to what I think is best for me and the possible people it involves. In this case, you."

A perfectionist.

Katsuki was much more soft-spoken now. His voice wasn't harsh and seemed to be more shy or nervous.

"Katsuki—"

"We find ourselves on the rooftops of balconies a lot. So this seemed like the best idea. Don't be all emotional. If you cry I'll leave."

"I won't cry," you laughed. "Gosh. I'm not getting proposed to though, am I?"

"No. Not yet at least."

"Good."

There was a blanket laid on the floor with flowers of your colours and his, confetti of hole-punched leaves and the newly blossomed cherry blossoms in the view.

On one of the corners had a basket placed on top and a small speaker for music if either of you wanted to spend time together in a calmer setting.

"It's adorable. But isn't this building not an office?"

"The old man's friend works here. Made an exception."

You squeezed his hand. "You didn't have to go through all of this, though. It's a first date."

"Fuck that. You deserve everything to make you happy."
