CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE
'villain's hideout'

Your traditional Japanese home was located in a private area near your second middle school. It was close to Shoto's, which is how you got to know his family.

Now you were bringing villains into your area. You warned them that you lived near the number one hero Endeavour, but they seemed like they didn't care. Typical.

You gave into their deal knowing that there was a high chance you were just going to get tricked by them. Desperate to help Katsuro, you shook hands with the enemy without seeing them even earning your trust. They knew your weaknesses and they were playing you like a fool.

"What a place! Very old, very nice!" Twice said, contradicting himself.

Twice and other villains joined the ride and followed you as you hesitatingly lead the villains to where you grew up in.

You didn't expect all of them to come along. You thought it was just Dabi who needed a place to lay low in and Toga followed because of the unresolved issue the both of you had during the raid.

There was no way you could get so many of them together within five metres to use 'Pause'. You were stuck in a cage if your own making for the need to know the unknown results of your son's quirk.

Dabi saw this as honourable. It was you willing to do everything you can for 'your child', even if that meant leading the League into your own household for their benefit.

You were one of the few he didn't consider a 'fake hero', you just wanted to protect everyone around you without the desire for fame or money. To him, the morals you had were in the right place. Your ability to be in control of situations however are not.

Maybe that's why he found it easier to make you do his bidding than anyone else.

"Is that Endeavour's house?!" Twice quietly yelled, staring all around him. "We should kill him! No! Wait for approval from the boss..."

"You're not laying a hand on Endeavour. I'm going to be the one who turns him to ashes."

You turned to Dabi when hearing this, blood running cold. Endeavour was good to you, he let you hang around with Shoto, he allowed you in his home when your dad was working and helped you train and control your quirks before going to UA.

Even though he was a complete dick to his actual children, he showed you signs of being able to be a good father and how he is now choosing to try to make up for what he has done, even if he knows it was unforgivable.

He was strong and powerful. If Dabi just says that darkly and nonchalantly with the intent to kill dripping from his teeth, how strong could he possibly be to want to challenge him that bad?

"You seem scared," the arsonist spoke, walking beside you, "what's the matter?"

"What have you got against Endeavour-san?"

He hummed and looked up to the sky, seeing the darker clouds gather above all of you. "Do you think he's a good person? Oh and lying isn't an option between us, okay?"

You tightened your grip on the bags of the things you bought, hoping that he'd just lay off with the obvious manipulation on you. "He wasn't at first. He's—"
