Much to everyone's relief, Kyra quickly recovered from the Sonic Boom scare. No one had expected Kyra to have eaten anything that evening, but she had braved coming down for dinner so she had at least something to eat.

Kyra's pokémon were exceptionally cuddly after having eaten, Kyra appreciated it and assured she would be OK. Lucario had explained the origin of Kyra's fear behind Sonic Boom and Bug Types so Kyra didn't trigger any fear herself.

The group decided to spend a couple of days training on Iron Island, Kyra was intrigued about where Lucario hatched and was curious as to whether or not there were other Lucario on Iron Island. Nate and Willow were glad to see Kyra in better spirits now and hoped it stayed now that Barry and Team Galactic weren't as much on her mind.

Kyra was tempted to go to the Canalave Library to try and find more out about Akari, but training was much more on her mind. The Library could wait, for now all she was focused on was training for the Canalave City Gym Battle.

The three planned to take the boat that left early the next morning, yes it meant getting up a bit earlier than usual, but at least that way they'd be able to get more training done. They decided it best to have an early night and make sure they were well rested, Lucario and Eevee both settled quickly which pleased Kyra.

When the alarm Kyra had set on her phone went off, she and Willow were already up and dressed, the alarm serving to wake Lucario and Eevee up and so they could go and make sure Nate was up. Luckily for the group, Kyra and Willow had set the alarm to wake Nate up since they would have missed the boat otherwise, only just getting to the harbour in time to get on board.

"OK, we're on, thank Arceus," Kyra said once they were on the boat and it had begun making its way to Iron Island.

"See, I told you we'd be fine. I don't know why you two were worrying so much," Nate said, still not having fully woken up yet.

Willow sighed, "Dude, the boat literally left once we were got on. If you'd set an alarm for when we told you to, then we wouldn't have had this issue," she reminded.

Kyra knew that Nate and Willow would have their friendly bickering for the majority of the boat ride, so she decided to head to the front of the boat with Lucario and Eevee.

Watching the deep sea below pass by was the calming sensation Kyra needed, she enjoyed seeing the numerous pokémon jumping out of the water as if racing the boat and showing off. Lucario and Eevee relaxed with Kyra and enjoyed just being in her quiet company, not needing to talk to be content.

"Do you remember much about Iron Island Lucario?" Eevee asked after a while of silence.

Lucario thought for a moment, she had been too young to really remember much, but there was one thing she remembered clearly.

"This won't come as a surprise, but I was a little too confident as a Riolu. Even after I had first hatched I wanted to explore and battle with the trainer and Lucario who raised me for a bit. They weren't really my trainers since my egg didn't come with a pokéball due to it being discarded by whoever my trainer would have been, so I kind of just stuck with them till I could battle for myself. The first few times I battled pokémon, it was fairly easy and I wanted a bit more of a challenge...it didn't end so well and I got scared and tried to find some sort of protection, hence I found Cynthia and her Garchomp," Lucario explained, part of her hoped that the trainer and Lucario who had raised her for a bit would still be on Iron Island, but she wasn't overly optimistic.

Kyra was intrigued to know Lucario was discarded as an egg. Why would any trainer just discard an egg that they most likely received or even chose to breed themselves? It didn't make any sense to her whatsoever.
