When Willow woke up the next morning, she was surprised to see Kyra and her pokémon were ready to head towards Sunnyshore City. It looked as if Kyra had had very little sleep the night before, much to Willow's concern.

"Everything alright? You look like you've barely slept," Willow asked, sitting up so she could see Kyra properly.

Kyra nodded, "I just woke up early, that's all. Something feels off this morning. I don't want to believe my instincts, but I'm pretty sure it's got something to do with Team Galactic," she explained.

Willow understood why Kyra would be so worried after all that Team Galactic had done so far. She agreed that it was best to get en route to Sunnyshore City ASAP.

Kyra messaged Nate whilst she waited for Willow to get herself ready, explaining to him that they were going to grab breakfast to eat as they walked to save a bit of time.

Eventhough Kyra was only waiting in the lobby for a maximum of ten minutes for Nate and Willow to grab their breakfast and get ready, the time seemed a lot longer to her. Her anxiety that something was going to happen continued to spike until she couldn't wait any longer to leave.

"They'll be down soon, we can't just leave without them," Lucario reminded as Kyra walked towards the door.

Kyra's hands were shaking as a result of her panicking, her voice very much the same. "They're already on their way there...we're too late."

Lucario and Glaceon knew that Kyra meant Team Galactic was on the way to Spear Pillar. They wanted to comfort their trainer, but they didn't know how to go about doing it.

Nate and Willow came down not even a minute later, both of them saw right away that Kyra wasn't coping well. Whatever she had been worrying about had come to reality.

"Meet me at Spear Pillar, be as quick as you can. Team Galactic already have a headstart, I'm not letting them get an even further one. If I go now with Gabite and Gliscor, we may be able to stall them for long enough," Kyra explained heading outside with her pokémon to send out her flyers before either Nate or Willow could get a word in edgeways.

As much as Nate and Willow wanted to follow on their flyers, they only had one between them, and it wasn't fair on Togekiss to take both Nate and Willow. They had to get to Spear Pillar by foot. The two quickly grabbed breakfast before heading off, using Nate's Rapidash to help get them to Mount Coronet as quickly as possible.

Gabite took Kyra whislt Lucario and Glaceon rode on Gliscor. Since Kyra now knew what Spear Pillar looked like, she could fly directly to it and had a chance of getting there before Team Galactic.

As they flew, Kyra thought back to her second meeting with Cyrus, since it had occurred in Mount Coronet, it wasn't impossible that Cyrus already knew the way to Spear Pillar. Either way, it would be close as to whether Kyra and her pokémon or Team Galactic got to Spear Pillar first.

To Kyra's relief, Gabite and Gliscor got to Spear Pillar before Team Galactic, putting her mind slightly at rest. She returned her two flyers to their pokéballs and waited with Lucario and Glaceon, hoping that she would be able to buy herself some time until Nate and Willow caught up.

Kyra and her partners didn't have to wait long until they were given the unwanted company of Team Galactic. The three Commanders all sent out their ace pokémon in an attempt to stop Kyra, but Cyrus knew it was worthless.

"What hope do you stand if I can't even defeat her? Mars, you've already lost to Kyra, as have your Jupiter. Saturn, although you didn't lose to Kyra's pokémon, you technically didn't win either since you've never faced Kyra's true potential as a trainer. Just let me do what I came here to do," Cyrus commented, putting his three Commanders down once again.
