"Tess, are you sure you want to do this?" I ask as I pull into the parking lot

"Tess, are you sure you want to do this?" I ask as I pull into the parking lot.

"Yes! I feel like this is the perfect moment for this," she says excitedly.

"You know how I feel about this..."

"I do, but it's not up to you!" she points out.

"Fine, let's go inside," I say and we both get out of the car.

As Tessa and I walk into the tattoo parlour I get my tattoos done at, we are greeted by the owner, Drew. "Scott! It's been awhile! Time for a new tattoo?" Drew asks cheerfully.

"No... We're here so my girlfriend can get one," I groan.

"Oh, that's great- Wait. Girlfriend?!" he asks in shock.

"Hi, I'm Tessa, nice to meet you!" she says as she smiles at him.

"It's nice to meet the girl who got this one to settle down," he laughs.

"Okay! Can we get this shit started now?" I ask impatiently.

"What's with him?" Drew asks.

"He... doesn't want me to get a tattoo," Tessa replies.

"So, I see he's still the same for the most part. You know, it's the lady's decision, Scott," he lectures.

"Fuck off." I roll my eyes.

"Yep, he definitely hasn't changed that much," Drew laughs. "Okay, Tessa, if you go to room three, someone will be with you shortly."

"Okay, thank you!" she says as she walks toward the room and I follow closely behind. Tessa turns around and glares at me. "Where do you think you're going?"

"I'm coming with you."

"No, you're not!"

"Tessa... I'm not leaving you alone in a room with a strange guy touching you."

"Hardin! I'm doing this alone."

"Tess-"

"No! You're not coming in with me."

"Why the fuck not?" I growl angrily.

"Hardin, I want to surprise you! Don't ruin this for me," she begs.

"Well, at least get a woman to do it then," I huff.

"I'm not going to embarrass myself by asking for a woman to do this because my boyfriend is jealous."

"I swear if he touches you anywhere but- Wait. Where are you getting it?"

"That's a surprise, too," she says as she rolls her eyes.

"I want to know if he's going to be touching you somewhere that's only mine to touch."

"You're impossible! How do you go from the sweet, supportive boyfriend I had this morning to this?!"

"Well?" I ask impatiently.

"Hardin! Stop this. Now, go sit over there!" she shouts as she points to the couch in the front of the shop.

I hate this whole idea, but I have to admit, her bossing me around is turning me on again. "Fine. But you better call for me if he touches you anywhere other than where he needs to," I warn and reluctantly go to sit on the couch.

I spend the time waiting for Tessa to be done by going through a catalog of tattoo ideas. It has been awhile since I got one. I'd love to get something for Tessa. I wonder if she'd like that or if it would freak her out.

As I'm lost in my thoughts, Tessa finally comes out and goes to pay Drew. When she's done, she starts walking toward me, but turns to wave goodbye to him. That's my Tessa, always making friends.

"I hope to see you again soon," he calls out to Tessa.

"Not if I have anything to say about it," I mumble under my breath.

"What?" she asks.

"Um, are you going to show me?"

"When we get home."

"Why? Did you get it on your ass or something?"

Tessa rolls her eyes, pushes the door open and gets into the car.

I follow her out and get into the car, too. "Show me," I gently demand.

"No. You'll have to wait."

"I still can't believe you did this."

"After today, I just wanted to do something to celebrate that this is all behind me. I'm really happy about this."

"Okay, Tess," I sigh. "I'm really happy this is all behind you and that you feel like you can finally move forward," I say as a cup her cheek.

"I'm glad you finally understand. I can't wait to show you it. I think you'll really like it!" she exclaims.

"I'm not sure about that. I liked your flawless skin." I pout.

"Hardin..." she sighs. "I'll show you when we get home, but first you'll have to undress me. Just as I promised last time we talked about this, it's somewhere only you can see," she whispers into my ear.
