It's Sunday morning and I'm awake before Tessa. I decide to bring her breakfast in bed, hoping to help cheer her up.

I'm just about to wake her up when I stop myself. I know she doesn't like me doing this, but she looks so beautiful in her sleep, so I grab my phone and try to take a photo of her.

Just as I'm about to snap the photo, she wakes up. "Hardin! What are you doing?"

"Nothing..." I lie.

"Are you taking photos of me sleeping again?"

"Nope. I swear!" I say as I raise my hands in front of myself innocently.

She turns to look at the clock to see what time it is and I quickly take a photo of her. When she turns back to look at me, she makes a face at me and I take another.

"Hardin! I look horrible!" she says as she covers her face with her pillow.

"Never!" I say and snap several more.

"Stop it!"

"Fine. But only because your breakfast will get cold."

"Breakfast?"

"Oh, yeah. I made you breakfast in bed." I smile proudly.

"Really? That's so sweet!"

"I was hoping it might help cheer you up."

"Hardin... I'm so lucky to have you!" She leaps out of bed and hugs me tightly.

"Whoa. I wasn't expecting that response."

"I love you! " she says as she places kisses all over my cheeks.

"Tess, you're going to make me blush."

"I don't care!" she says as she continues to show me her affection.

"It's just breakfast." I shrug.

"But it's not! It's everything."

"What do you mean?"

"It's the trip to the cabin and the charms for my bracelet. It's the little things, like making me breakfast, but it's also the big things. Most importantly, it's your constant support and your unconditional love."

"Okay, now I'm blushing."

"Don't joke. I don't think I say these things enough. I appreciate every single moment with you. I love you, so, so much!" She hugs me again.

I stand there hugging her, but I'm left speechless.

"Hardin? Did I freak you out?"

"Um, no..."

"Then what's wrong?" she asks as she looks up at me.

"I... I just never thought I would ever have someone love me the way you do, Tess. And I promise you, I'll never take it for granted," I say and start to tear up.
