After begging Tessa to let me into the bedroom last night, she finally unlocked the door for me, but not before she made me promise not to try to 'impregnate' her.

I wake up with Tessa in my arms, a little sad I lost the daughter I never really had, but grateful that Tessa is back in my arms where she belongs. "Good morning, Tess," I whisper in her ear as she opens her eyes.

"Morning, Hardin," Tessa says as she yawns.

"You know, I could have you knocked up and at school in ten minutes!"

"Stop!" she shouts as she hits me with her pillow and jumps out of bed.

"This weekend is our two month anniversary. That could be your gift to me."

"I'm not listening to this!" She puts her hands over her ears and leaves the bedroom to go get ready for school.

After teasing Tessa about giving me a baby a couple more times, we leave for school, go to our morning classes and then meet up with Emma for lunch.

"Hey, baby," I say and give Tessa a kiss. "Hi, Emma."

"Hey, Hardin. I wanted to ask you, should I throw Tessa a baby shower, or did you want to?" Emma giggles.

"Ha-ha." I roll my eyes. "Do you guys tell each other everything?"

"Mmm-hmm," Tessa and Emma hum at the same time.

"So, I guess Tessa told you what an incredible lover I am, then."

"Hardin!" Tessa shrieks and covers her face.

"Actually, she did." Emma smirks.

"Emma! Shhh!" Tessa scolds.

"Is that right?" I whisper into Tessa's ear and then nuzzle into her neck.

"Well, it's not like I have anything to compare it to," she giggles.

"Baby, you haven't even experienced half the things I want to do that will get you screaming my name."

"Okay! I think that's my cue to leave," Emma interrupts.

"Sorry, Emma." Tessa blushes and elbows me.

"It's fine. I need to get going. Bye, guys. See you in yoga!" Emma says as she walks away.

"Hardin, is it okay if I go to yoga, or are you afraid it might be too dangerous?" she giggles.

"Go ahead, tease me."

"I'm sorry. It was actually really sweet how you were acting when you thought I was pregnant. I hate to break it to you, but you're a stand up guy, Hardin Scott."

"How dare you say that to me!" I say and start to tickle her.

"Stop!" she begs.

"I fucking love you."

"I fucking love you, too!" she giggles.

We go to the rest of our classes, and then I drive us home.

"Thank you, Hardin," Tessa says as we walk through the apartment door.

"For what, Tess?"

"Having lunch with Emma again."

"She's not so bad. If I wasn't so irrevocably in love with you, maybe things could have worked out between us." I shrug.

"That's so weird to think about!"

"It is. Unfortunately for all the other girls, I only see you," I say as I tilt her chin up and kiss her.

"I feel sorry for them. No one else will ever get to see you the way I do."

"Tess..." I breathe as I press my forehead to hers. Before I can say anything else, my phone starts to ring. "Tess, it's my boss. I'll be right back."

After arguing with my douchebag of a boss for ten minutes, I come back to tell Tessa the bad news. "Tess, I have to tell you something."

"Okay, Hardin. What's wrong?"

"My boss told me I have to go on a business trip this weekend. I'm so sorry I'm going to miss our anniversary. I cursed at him and everything!"

"Hardin, it's okay. We can celebrate when you get back."

"Are you sure you're not mad?"

"I understand. Although, I think you just wanted to get out of babysitting," she teases.

"That is an upside!" I chuckle.

"I thought you wanted a baby."

"Yeah, one that's ours, not someone else's rugrat."

"Be nice!"

"So, I have to leave Friday after school and stay until Sunday night. Will you be alright being here alone all weekend?"

"Yes, Hardin. You worry too much!"

"I disagree. I don't worry enough." I hug her and kiss the top of her head. "I wish I could take you with me."

"Well, you'll just have to show me how much you missed me when you get back." She smirks.
