I wake up after having the best night sleep of my life to discover Tessa missing from my bed. I must have been sound asleep because I didn't hear her leave. I wonder why she left and I hope she's okay.

I pull my jeans on and open the bedroom door. I see Zed's old bedroom door is closed. She must have gone back to the room sometime in the middle of the night.

I decide to go have a shower and let Tessa sleep in. I turn the knob on the bathroom door and as I'm wiping at my eyes to help wake myself up I hear a scream.

"Oh my God! Hardin!" Tessa screams, but I just stand there staring at her.

Fuck, she looks breathtaking. I've been friends with her a long time, but I've never seen her like this. The towel is wrapped around her loosely, but I can still see the outline of her body, and those hips. The towel comes to the middle of her thigh and as I scan down her body I think of those legs being wrapped around my waist.

"Hardin!"

"Wh-what?"

"Could you please leave?"

"Uh... sorry, Tess," I manage to spit out. I leave embarrassed and close the door behind me.

I lean against the bathroom door for a second to collect myself. That is an image I won't be getting out of my head anytime soon. I walk over to the kitchen and pour myself some orange juice. I'm taking a sip when Tessa finally exits the bathroom.

"Tess, I'm so sorry. I thought you were sleeping."

"It's fine, Hardin. It's my fault for not locking the door."

"Are you sure you're okay? I don't want things to get awkward between us." I think that ship has sailed.

"Yeah, let's talk about something else." She blushes.

"Okay. How are you feeling today? Did you have a good sleep last night?"

"Actually, I did. I'm sorry I barged into your room in the middle of the night a blubbering mess," she says, embarrassed.

"I told you I'm here for you. Whatever you need."

"Thank you." She smiles. "It felt really good to fall asleep in your arms," she says, then looks to the ground as if she didn't mean to say that part out loud.

"I know what you mean, I slept really well, too," I say and look away from her. This is getting awkward again. "Um, did you want some juice or something?" I ask, trying to change the subject.

"Sure, that sounds good."

"Hey, I wanted to ask if you wanted to stay with me longer than this weekend," I say as I pour her a glass of orange juice.

"Oh, I haven't thought about it. I really don't want to over stay my welcome."

"Tess, you know that could never happen," I state.

"Well, I really don't want to stay on campus longer than I need to. I'm sure my humiliation is being spread all around there. And I still feel uneasy when I think about what Zed said to me. I don't want to take a chance of him showing up at my dorm room."

"So, it's settled then. You'll stay." I smile at her.

"I'll have to go back to the dorm to get some more stuff then."

"I'll drive you if you want, but first you need breakfast."

"I don't know how hungry I am. This thing with Zed and Molly has made me lose my appetite." She frowns.

"If we keep talking about those asshole, I'll lose mine, too," I say angrily. "But Tess, you have to eat. My apartment, my rules." I smirk.

"Fine." She rolls her eyes, but I can see a smile peeking through.

"You think about what you want while I take a quick shower, okay?"

"Okay, Hardin. Thanks again for being so wonderful. I don't know how I'll ever repay you."

"I just want you to be happy. If you are happy, I'm happy." I give her a big smile that she returns. "Okay, I'll be quick, then we can eat."

"Okay," she replies as I head for the bathroom.

Once I'm in the bathroom, I close the door behind me and lean against the counter. I'm so happy she's staying longer, but it's also so hard for me to be around her when I feel this way. I don't know if she could ever return my feelings. We've had a few moments where I got that vibe from her, but if I'm wrong I could ruin our friendship.

I also don't know how many more half naked Tessa moments I can handle. With that being said, I better make this a cold shower. I step into the shower and try not to think of Tessa and that towel.

And because Tessa is just that sexy, I take an extra long cold shower to try to cool myself off. I know I said I'd be quick, but hopefully she won't notice. It's her fault anyway. She could turn me on with just a smile from those sexy, full lips of her.

I step out of the shower, wrap a towel around my waist and open the bathroom door so I can grab a shirt and clean jeans from my room.
