Well my plan for today failed  successfully, it was going well in the beginning, I almost dozed off to sleep with my favourite movie playing in the background but then my dad texted me saying Falcon wants to kill Chris and Blade and I couldn't let that happen, do they deserve it? Absolutely, but I don't want Falcon to get his hands dirty, I wanted to be the one doing it.

Things got progressively worse when my dad told me that the reason he didn't kill Blade himself was because he found out that Blade has connections to Falcon's father that wasn't present in his childhood, I felt my heart sink when he told me that he found him and will bring him to the house tonight, I'm genuinely afraid of Falcon's reaction.

And of course Blade can't die because he knows a lot and dad wants to push the information out of him, not for his own satisfaction but for Falcon, when he looks at him he sees himself, he sees a boy that grew up without someone supporting him and he was always alone until he met my mama, he knows how much it fucked him up so he wants to make sure the same thing doesn't happen to Falcon, he treats him like he treats Xavier, like he's his son.

"Baby we need to go home, come."I take his gun and put it in my strap then take his hand, squeezing it lightly to snap him out of his thoughts, he blinks and looks at Blade, his face reddening and his neck veins becoming more and more visible.

"You...All those years you knew."Blade smirks and nods slowly.

"Knew? Of course I knew, how can I forget my own brother?"

My eyes widen. "YOU'RE HIS UNCLE? AND YOU LET HIM AND HIS BROTHER SUFFER?!! YOU FUCKING CUNT!!"I lose my temper and grab the gun, I shoot his thigh very close to his crotch, the color on his face drains and he swallows hard.

"YOU LET HIM SUFFER LIKE HE WAS NOTHING TO YOU? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TRAUMATIZED HE IS? HOW CAN YOU BE SO FUCKING CRUEL?"I shoot him again, this time in the arm.

"YOU, YOUR BROTHER AND THE WHOLE ARMY, ALL OF YOU WILL BURN BY THE FIRE I LIGHT, MARK MY WORDS I'LL RUIN YOU"I scream in his face, my chest rising up and down rapidly.

I was too focused on Blade that I didn't even realize Chris was staring at me in complete shock, I can't believe that that was the face I was excited to see everyday and now when I look at it all it does is make me sick.

"Ariel-What are you doing?"His voice cracks and trembles.

"I'm burning my past, just like mama taught me, always burn your past so it never comes back to haunt you."I grab my lighter and smile.

"DON'T, WAIT, ARIEL I'M SORRY, I UNDERSTAND YOU, I UNDERSTAND YOU'RE HURT, I DO JUST PLEASE-"

"You don't understand me."I speak calmly.

"To understand a person you need to swim in the waters that drowned them Chris, you need to see why they became heartless monsters, you need to live through the pain and then I'm going to ask you if you understand me but I already know the answer."Tears fill my eyes as the memories come flooding back.

"I wish I met Falcon before I met you, I wish I gave him all that love I wasted on you because he's the one that deserves it but I guess life needed to teach me a lesson, turns out someone knowing my order doesn't mean they care about me."I laugh to myself and sigh defeated.

"I'll do it, sunshine."Mama appears out of nowhere and puts her hand on my shoulder gently, judging by her red swollen face I assume she heard everything I said.

"Go be with Russo, he needs you right now."I look at Falcon, he still didn't move from the spot, he's just starting at his feet breathing slowly.

"Mama will handle it, go be his little ray of sunshine now."I wipe my tears nodding.
