3rd pov

loki had his third near heart attack that week. watching y/n jump into the mouth of a giant wolf was nothing short of absolutely terrifying. but all loki could do was stare in shock as y/n tore it in half.

y/n got up from the ground and stood up and was screaming something as he spit out fenrir's blood. he looked like he was gagging and he stumbled over the edge of the bridge and threw up. loki turned away and spared him the privacy. he returned his attention to hela's pirate of the caribbean skeleton army and took more down.

he heard heavy footsteps and turned to see y/n running towards them, picking up skeletons with his magic as he passed and throwing them off the bifrost. blood-covered and angry was a good look on y/n, disgusting, but a very good look indeed. loki smiled when he and y/n made eye contact, and y/n put up a peace sign in return before elbowing a skeleton that got too close.

y/n finally made it to them. heimdall, the valkyrie, thor, loki, and him all stood panting as they watched hela approach, stepping over the bodies —corpses? corpse bodies? body corpses? SKELETONS— of her army.

"i think we should disband the revengers," thor huffed.

y/n furrowed his eyebrows and mouthed "revengers?", turning to loki for answers.

loki looked at him and shook his head dismissively. he pointed at hela and said, "hit her with a lightning blast."

"i just hit her with the biggest lightning blast in the history of lightning, it did nothing!" thor groaned.

they all watched her slowly approach, still catching their breath.

"we just need to hold her off until everyone's on board," the valkyrie said. thor shook his head.

"it won't end there, the longer hela's on asgard the stronger she grows. she'll hunt us down. we need to stop her here and now." thor said, a sort of resolve building in his voice.

"so what are supposed to do, then?" y/n asked, wiping more blood away from his eyes.

loki turned to thor, "i'm not doing get help," he said. y/n turned to loki with the biggest "what the fuck?" face. he went unnoticed.

thor watched hela, who was much closer now, as she stalked closer. he took a deep breath and turned back to look at the asgardian citizens pile onto the ship, then looked back to hela.

"asgard's not a place. it's a people," thor said, he turned to loki and y/n.

"guys, this was never about stopping ragnarok, it was about causing ragnarok," thor explained. "surturs crown, the vault! it's the only way."

"bold move, brother, even for me," loki said, running towards the ship thor came in on. y/n began running after loki, but loki turned around and put his hand up.

"stay here, y/n. help them," loki said.

"but how will i know you're safe?" y/n asked. loki's gaze softened, but remained sincere.

"i will be, trust me," loki said, turning with a wink and boarding the ship.

y/n turned back to see thor and the valkyrie already fighting hela. he ran to help, pulling hela off of thor and throwing her. she landed on her feet and smirked when she saw y/n.

"oh, vidar, you poor thing. you're fighting for the wrong side," she said, y/n dropped his defensive stance a bit.

"you're wrong," y/n said, walking towards her with his spear ready to attack.

"how would you know? daddy's kept so many things from you, told you so many lies," hela continued, her conniving smile never leaving her face.

"she's trying to get into your head, y/n! don't listen to her!" thor shouted, but y/n paid him no mind.
