23/01/4014 AD – 10:27 – Warturf – Spirock Village – Metal Bridge

The Pilot of the assassins glanced up as a blaze of fire appeared in the sky before she looked back towards Crystrx, "HA! Looks like Stabshan completed his object-"

Crystrx cut her off with a flurry of holo sword strikes; the Pilot blocked this but put considerable strain on her starial shields.

"So what are you gonna do now without your precious flying fort-" the Pilot was cut off once again with Crystrx's aggressive rush. The Pilot swung her shotgun towards her attacker's chest, but Crystrx caught it before it posed a threat to her.

"I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE HUMAN'S STUPID TOY!" Crystrx screeched as she ripped the weapon out of the shocked woman's hands. The shotgun was thrown on the ground and stamped on, crushing the main furniture of the weapon. She could have easily thrown it over the edge of the bridge, but Crystrx wanted to inject fear into the Pilot, a ploy that she saw through.

"You can't scare me with those cheap tricks!" the redhead barked back as she drew two missile spears from her back. I don't need guns to kill you!" Crystrx flicked the switch on one of her holo swords, locking the weapon to its bladed form, and hurled it with precision accuracy at the centre of one of the spears. Two active explosive devices now started to fall down next to the Pilot, who panicked and now had to kick the two halves off the bridge.

"Why the hell would you try and wield two of those things at once?!" Crystrx summoned, and hurled, three small crystalline spears at the Pilot, one of which struck her in the leg. The Pilot winced in pain.

"Although, it is an interesting design, don't think I have seen anything quite like it", Crystrx's voice became calm; Vice speaking through his host's voice.

"But one that relies on being two-handed!" the angered voice of Crystrx returned.

The Pilot left the crystal in her leg so the blood loss would be kept at a minimum. Through her mask, she analysed the crystals and became irritated at the lack of data on them, "Wyperians and their damn tricks!"

"'Wyperians', you say?" Vice laughed through Crystrx's voice. "You should really be worried about what an A.I. can do whilst in this body! We were originally built with an ability to overclock A.M.R. systems and produce greater power outputs; even using our own power that we can store in the A.I. chips if we so please". His voice became psychotic, "But in Wyperian, we can overclock their ENTIRE BODY!" Crystrx rushed at the Pilot with terrifying, unnatural speed, her second holo sword taking off half of the Pilot's mask, revealing a crystal-blue eye.

"Don't worry, we won't kill you until we see who lays underneath that mask!" Crystrx and Vice said in unison. "Better hope your identity is significant or we'll crush your skull!" The pair were suddenly interrupted by rapid sniper fire, forcing them to activate their spherical shield.

"Get back!" Skullurst called out to his friend as he fired upon Crystrx and Vice. The Wyperian assassin grabbed his rifle by the charge handle and spun it around. Each full rotation loaded another bullet into the chamber, to a maximum of five. Skullurst then fired all five bullets in quick succession as the Pilot struggled to get behind him. He looked across the ocean, towards the decimated fleet they had arrived with, "Stealphire, we are at a massive disadvantage here!"

"I know..." came a regretful comment over the communications.

"We need to pull back!"

"I know".

"Either we kiss our payment goodbye, or we kiss our lives goodbye! If they call in another A.I.-"

"I KNOW! All forces, retreat!"

The A.E.R. started to flee, but not before Crystrx and Vice got in a few more shots from a freshly drawn Sirbus. Bullets hit Skullurst and the Pilot in the limbs as they ran towards their helicopter and took off. Crystrx laughed as she kept pointlessly firing at the helicopter as it flew over to pick up Stabshan.

"What a joke! They call themselves 'assassins'?! Cowards more like it!" Crystrx laughed; she wasn't afraid of Vice's assistance this time.

In fact, she straight up enjoyed it.

23/01/4014 AD – 11:00 – Warturf – Skies over the Continental Lands – Assassin's Helicopter

"You worthless, pathetic failures!" screamed Flaymaclaze over the communication line to the four assassins. The A.E.R. leader was on a screen in the dull sleeping quarters of the assassin's helicopter. The vehicle was moving very slowly through the skies at a high-altitude, heading steadily towards the temporary outpost the group had set up elsewhere on Warturf. Stabshan sitting on his bunk, reviewing footage of last battle, specifically the attacks of the Terradeath. The Pilot was laying silent on her bed as Skullurst carefully removed Crystrx's spear from her leg. The Wyperian quickly grabbed a can of gel that was designed to quickly harden when applied to a blood wound; a temporary method used before a person can get to regeneration chambers. A fair few of these cans were kept on the Pilot's bedside shelf.

"Sorry, I know Humans are at a disadvantage because they can't switch to an alternate form. You'll have to manage with the pain until we get home", Skullurst's voice was genuine and caring.

"I'll kill that psycho next time!" the Pilot panted.

"You can tell me about it later; we need to sort this out before you fall unconscious", Skullurst said gently.

"HEY!" Flaymaclaze shouted. "I'm the one talking here! You not only failed in spectacular fashion, but you also cost me BILLIONS! Twenty naval vessels! Submarines and Carriers! Not to mention all the other equipment on those ships!"

"Tsk don't act like you acquired those ships through one-hundred percent legitimate means", Stealphire attempted to keep his cocky attitude. "You can just threaten some more innocent-"

"THAT IS NOT THE ISSUE! You were paid to do a job and you screwed it up!"

"Well what do you want us to do about it?! It's not like we are expecting the latter half of the payment".

"Damn right! Now, if you expect to be paid that remaining amount, you shall assist the Psykhodarks in killing the Angel of Water, Anmarina. Elimiphlaren will fix the disaster you have caused. Kill Anmarina and all will be forgiven... fail to do so before Elimiphlaren and I defeat Staruthia, Sollikarr and Crystrx, and you shall be the next target! Understand?!"

"S-sir?" came a weak response from the Pilot.

"What do you want?!" Flaymaclaze showed no sympathy for the young woman.

"Be careful of the Human's A.I. they pose more of a threat than you realise. I'll send over what data I can..." she said as she pressed a series of buttons on a small panel on her left arm.

"What are you doing?! We could sell that at a later date! If a team ran into another situation like we had, they would pay a premium price for any information at all" Stealphire attempted to stop the transaction.

"Are you unable to set aside your greed for one single solitary second?!" the Pilot snapped. "If you fail to kill Anmarina, it would be in your best interest to keep your clients happy!"

Flaymaclaze looked past the Pilot's broken mask and into her eyes. He smirked. Skyswipe had already began an obsessive investigation into the A.I., but the information regarding the ability to overclock was especially interesting. He accepted the Pilot's offer and looked over at Stealphire, "Very well, I shall return the favour". New information appeared on Stealphire's visor, causing a stunned reaction.

"I shall leave it up to your leader on whether or not he wishes to share this information with the rest of you", Flaymaclaze laughed as he signed off.

"Judging by your expression, you have no intention of showing that to us, do you?" Stabshan correctly assumed. It was a profile of an U.A. member, one Alexis Destiny, complete with footage of her feats and loadout; the shield piercing Irhapa and the high-calibre Moirai.

Stealphire nervously glanced over to the Pilot, who had finally passed out from the pain.

'Like hell would I ever share this information! This isn't even information, it's a threat!'
