Season 3 | Chapter 2

-Permanent Scars-

Narrator POV

    The bag that Y/n was holding onto just a moment ago fell to the ground. By the time it had, Y/n had already landed a right hook into Minjoon's cheek, sending him to the ground. Another push of the legs put Y/n over top of him. His fist acted as a pendulum that swung from where it was raised to Minjoon's face. The punches came repeatedly.

    "How dare you show up here after what you did!" Y/n yelled as he repeatedly planted his fist into Minjoon's face, but Minjoon stayed silent without fighting back. "Answer me!"

    Nothing came in response to Y/n's demands. Nothing but the sound of his fists furiously meeting flesh. Even with all the punches, Minjoon didn't become more than just a little bloody. Without his Sole, Y/n couldn't do as much damage as he could have otherwise.

    "Y/n!" Lisa's voice pierced through the air as she rushed to his side and began trying to pull him off. "Stop! Y/n, listen to me!"

    With multiple attempts and prying at Y/n, she finally succeeded in pulling him off from Minjoon. A groan escaped his lips as he sat up, holding his face. He moved his jaw to make sure it wasn't broken.

    "What the fuck are you doing here?!" Y/n belted.

    "Y/n, please listen to me," Lisa stressed, this time getting his attention. "He's not here to hurt anyone. Just hear him out."

    "Lisa, he-"

    "I know. Just hear him out. I promise it will be okay." She assured.

    "You know, I never took you for the on-site type of dude, Y/n. I've never heard your mind be so loud before, either." Minjoon cracked his neck and let out a deep breath. "Not much different from your girlfriend here. She kicked my ass good to..."

    "What do you want?" Y/n demanded.

    "Look, just meet me up here after school. I will explain everything and answer whatever questions you have. Yurim is coming, too. I want to say it for all of you so there's no chance of doubt that I didn't apologize to some. That's also why Lisa was the first person I went to about it. I knew she's someone that most already trust. I explained it fully to her."

    "Fine. Lunch is almost over anyway." Y/n's gaze didn't break from him. "Do not ditch on us, or I will hunt you down myself and-"

    "Y/n. I know. I could hear your thoughts from the steps. You don't have your Sole. If I was here to do harm, it would have been easy." Minjoon interrupted. "I'm not here to fool you or lull you into false comfort. I think you'll understand that when we talk. I promise."

Y/n POV

    Minjoon seemed to be sincere when he promised to meet me. It also didn't seem like he was trying anything funny either. He's also right about my Sole. It's gone and would be all too easy for him to do real harm. Especially with Nayeon up here with me. But what's his end game? Why is he even still attending, his plan failed on the ski trip. I guess if Lisa is okay with him explaining, then I will let him. There's not much I could do anyway...
