Y/n POV

I stirred awake and sat up in my bed, heaving a tired and deep sigh while I rubbed my eyes. Man, last night was weird. I can't believe I didn't recognize Yuyu instantly or at the very least sooner. She got really pretty, too.

~Flashback~

After moving aside, she made her way into my kitchen area and sat the bag she had with her on the table and sat down. I sat down across from her. She smiled at me while she rested her head in her palm. It soon faded after a moment of silence.

"You really don't recognize me, do you?" She asked with a sigh.

"Should I?" I responded, admittedly feeling confused.

"It's me... Yuyu..." She pleaded. "I was hoping when I made you the rose, like I used to all the time, you would have remembered."

"Wait, Yuyu, the flower shop owner's daughter?" I said in shock.

"Yes!" She exclaimed in excitement.

"No way!" I thought you guys moved far away!" I said with my eyes widened.

"We did move pretty far away, that's where I met Yuji and Haeun." She said with a smile. "But we decided to try and get into Seoul High because of its Sole program. Since it's our last year, we wanted to get the best training we can. We want to get into the Sole Force Department and help put the people misusing their Sole in their place."

"That sounds like a great plan, and the Seoul High Sole program will definitely help you get there." I agreed. "I mean, the Bangtan boys are a product of it and they're favorites by the students there for the King of Sole tournament. You three girls are already quite impressive, so, I have no doubt you'll turn out great."

"Yeah, I really hope so. You know, it's been so long since we used to play in Seki's garden. She giggled before her tone shifted to an apologetic tone. "What about you? Still in hiding, huh?"

"Yeah, but it's really not that big of a deal. I can't help that people fear ARUs. I do hope that one day I don't have to hide. Honestly, I just want to help people, and thanks to Seki, I can do just that. Well, kind of. I have to do it in secret." I sighed lightly.

"When I become a part of the SFD, I will personally push to have ARUs seen in a different light. I'll convince them to open the program to you and try to have them ally with ARUs before they criminalize them." She spoke with a sparkle in her eye.

"People are just scared because ARUs are hugely stronger than a typical Sole user. They're scared that if they let their guard down, we'll turn around and betray their trust. You know, take control from under them." I explained. "While some most certainly take advantage of their strength, we don't all do it."

We took a few hours to catch up and talk about what happened in our lives after she moved. The conversation moved to the tournament and I mentioned that I was answering Hellfire's call to participate. She wasn't sold at all on the idea, though. She was worried that I would get hurt or expose myself as an ARU. I showed her the mask, clothes and hair dye I planned to use to cover myself.
