-The Bleeding Heart: Round Two-

Y/n POV

"Let's go get you checked out in the medical tent." I offered as he stood up, wiping his eyes dry.

"Yeah, you're right, Kahuna. I should make sure I'm up to shape and ready for my next match." Adrian sighed, seemingly disgusted with himself.

We help him across the path to the medical tent to have us all checked just in case, starting with Jooheon since his match is second-up. Considering his match, as well as mine, was quick and one sided, there wasn't much healing we needed done. Adrian, however, had some damage from his. He did take a good hit or two.

While Adrian was getting looked at by medical staff, the announcement came across the loudspeaker.

"Participants of match two in round two, please report to the ring immediately. You have ten minutes, if you do not show, you will be eliminated. We recommend that all participants stay close by. See the medical staff quickly if needed."

"That's me," Jooheon said as he stood up, "you stay with Adrian and help him get squared away. I'll meet you out here at the medical building."

"Alright, good luck. Jin's tougher than Yeonghwan." I responded with a wave as Jooheon made his way to the ring.

Jooheon POV

I arrived at the split off into two different hallways. One arrow was red, letting me know that Jin had gone into the waiting room in that direction. This system was set up so that the fighters would emerge on opposite ends of the ring, as well as have alone time where they could clear their head. I guess this is when it starts getting harder. I heave a sigh and walk through the hallway with the green arrow. I quickly find my way into the waiting room and sat down, waiting for the buzzer letting me know to walk out.

That buzzer soon sounded, and I stood up and walked out of the now open hallway.

When I made it out of the hallway and into the area where the ring was, the crowd was going crazy. I noticed a lot of other classmates in the crowd cheering both of us on. It felt wholesome in a way, especially after the match with Yeonghwan.

Narrator POV

The two stood facing each other, waiting for the cue to be given.

"You may now begin!" The announcer stated.

"I guess we gotta give them a good show!" Jin exclaimed excitedly as he positioned himself in a fight ready pose.

"Shouldn't be hard for us," Jooheon responded, posing himself the same.

They both went into action at the same time, their Soles meeting in the middle. Jooheon's flames, and the moisture that Jin pulled from the air. The impact created heavy steam that filled the ring area.

"Oh, man! These two are really going at it!"

They landed punches and kicks on each other, blocking some when they were able. Some blows using Sole, others just bare fists. Both were well trained in martial arts as a means to use their Sole effectively in battle, which led to them being fairly evenly matched. Jin, however, had to work harder to earn his shots as he hadn't been trained by a master, only by the humbled Sole program at school. With Jooheon's upper hand, he was able to land more smaller blows than Jin could, wearing Jin down more.
