Season 3 | Chapter 10

-The Demon Himself-

Narrator POV

"Here you go, little miss. One lollipop!" The kind man handed a generously sized, handmade lollipop to a small girl in long, blonde pigtails, clutching a teddy bear. Her pretty, pink dress shifted as she accepted the candy, then turned to leave the man's shop.

Her walk was more of a skip. She hummed to herself, getting smiles and nods from kind individuals that walked past her. Several compliments were given to her for her pretty dress and golden blonde pigtails. Her big eyes were another subject of compliments. She loved every single one she received.

While she skipped along, an animalistic, blood-curdling scream sounded. One that could only be reasoned to be the sound of a person being brutally murdered in the worst ways imaginable. The young lady stopped. She dug through her small purse and pulled out a phone and answered it. The screaming stopped.

"Hey hey hi hello!" She said happily.

She stood still for a moment as her expression dropped from happy to annoyed.

"But you said I could get more ice cream!"

More waiting.

"Fine. But I want ice cream after! You promised, Lucy!"

She hung up her phone and pouted as she threw her lollipop onto the ground. She skimmed her surroundings. Her eyes darted around and found what she was looking for. She smiled again and skipped happily to the alley just ahead of her.

"Perfect." She said as she entered, confusing the cross-pupiled man that had just dropped his freshly used needle. "Oh yeah, you're way too high to know what's going on."

She smiled at the man as her eyes slitted like that of a snake's and went from the soft blue to an eerie yellow glow. The clouds above the alley grew dark. A loud clap of thunder sounded, scaring the poor man before the girl. The storm picked up and spread slightly. The wind swirled around the girl as lightning lit up the sky.

"Come, my children. It's time to play." The girl giggled.

The shadow under her split into four and began stretching out. Those shadows eventually began to rise from the ground. Each one taking a human form. A battle-worn demon built with functional muscle, a sickly looking demon with colorless skin, another demon with a sunken and skull-like face, and the final demon being nearly all skin and bones. All of which had glowing yellow eyes and their thirst for blood plastered over their face. They then all bowed to the girl.

"Your orders, Lilith?" The sunken-faced one spoke.

"Flush out that dirty blue Sole. Remember, Lucy doesn't want everything flattened. Not yet." Lilith's voice became course as she spoke.

The four demons jumped from their positions as the storm cleared, though still leaving the dark clouds hanging in the air. The man that was in the alley before Lilith entered was now shaking. His body convulsed as though he sat in the coldest weather he had ever experienced. He flattened himself as much as he could into the dead-end behind him. Lilith closed the distance between them slowly and with malice.

"Who... Who the hell are you?" He stammered out.

"My name is Lilith. You can die now." She giggled.
